The Colorado Rockies got a scare on Tuesday when prospect Jon Gray left with abdominal tightness after facing only three batters in a spring training game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Gray, who was drafted third overall in 2013, was expected to be in Colorado's starting rotation.
The 24-year-old is expected to undergo an MRI.
"He said he was feeling it on certain pitches," Walt Weiss said. "When you hear that you just take him out."
