The Los Angeles Dodgers went their entire 8-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday night without striking out once.
It marked the first time the franchise played a full game without a strikeout since August 28, 2006.
\"A lot of competitive at-bats,\" Dave Roberts said. \"Eighteen years -- we\'ve seen a lot of baseball games since that\'s happened. I just think you\'ve got to give the players all the credit for winning pitches and fighting to move the ball forward.\"
The Dodgers had 44 plate appearances without a strikeout. They drew eight walks.
