Report: Commanders Fielding Calls For No. 2 Pick

The Washington Commanders are fielding calls for the second overall pick, according to a report.

Washington hasn\'t made a final decision yet, but the expectation is that despite listening to offers they will keep the pick and draft either Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels.

Growing problem for the nfl. With limited draft space do you want to be paying a rookie 20 million a season when there’s players in the latter rounds that come out looking better making a fraction allowing you to be a contender. If you’re not taking a QB in the top 5 it’s hardly pointless to pick so high.
