O.J. Simpson has passed away at the age of 76
\"On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,\" a statement from his family said.
Simpson was acquitted for the muders of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, but was later found liable for their deaths in a dicvil suit.
Simpson won the Heisman Trophy while at USC in 1968 and then had a Hall of Fame career in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills. Simpson later became an actor and broadcaster.
