Anyone who has rated the Knicks with an A in this trade :

1) Are some of the Italian Realgm followers
2) have never seen Bargnani play
3) is misreading the question and rating the Raptors with an A

New york gets a very weak man in this trade. As a Raptor fan I would have been happy if we got two slices of Pizza in the deal, let alone some serviceable players/contracts and the two picks

B grade deal. They didnt have confidence in playing Novak or Camby, so what did they really trade away? Draft picks, that more than likely gonna be 1 mid-late 1st round pick, and 2nd round picks? Good deal. Barg cant be that bad if he avg 21ppg a year ago, right?

What are you gonna use with that those picks, Raptors fan? Novak can only make wide open shots. If he isnt completely wide open, he's just as much of a waste as you claim Barg to be. Its a good deal if Amare gets hurt again. Kenyon Martin? He was the backup center because Woodson wouldnt play Camby vs Hibbert when Chandler kept getting in foul trouble. Pacers would leave Chandler and/or Martin under open under the basket because they werent good finishers(unless they were dunking of course). At least Barg can finish, which would open up space for Melo, JR, and Felton to drive.
Peja, Iverson, CP3, T-Mac, Starks, Artest. Will never get over how the 01-02 Kings got cheated by the refs.

      Are you high on every drug known to man... Lmao... they just got a more expensive Novak if anything... Have fun watching Andrelina chuck 3s and contested 2s all game... This guy lives outside the paint so much you'd think he's a 2 guard. He had 21ppg because that's what we had to work with... with less attempts and the offense not being run through him he disappears quicker than Casper like he did this year. The last thing Andrea is doing for the Knicks is bringing an inside presence to spread the floor and defending Hibbert... Don't make me explode in laughter. This guy plays defense like a dead log.

Bargnani is a good Euro player, in Euro standarts but not NBA. He is the perfect opposite of Dwight Howard, if only his position is not also Center, it wouldn't be much problem, but if you want to play him as C, you need another C or PF (at least another softy Bosh like) to complete him.

Bargnani is a bad acquisistion for any NBA team. If you have Dwight you can play him PF, and that is the only thing I can say positive about him.

Bad fit on any nba team, especially one that already has no defensive presence. Tyson Chandler being the only exception. He will not be happy having to play harder again to over compensate

I don't think its that horrible. Melo can play more 3 now, with Bargs at the 4, as the spacing will be much better than with Amar'e on the court. And neither Bargs or Amar'e really play much D, so that's irrelevant.

Knicks look like they will be chucking up more shots than last year.

Knicks wont be asking him to avg 21ppg. My point is, anyone who can avg that many pts over a full season, is no bum. Novak is a bum. Novak couldnt score 21ppg in the D-lg, and they werent playing Camby. Knicks got a big man that will score off doubles, UNLIKE Kenyon Martin and Chandler. THAT IS THE POINT. Not that Knicks want him to be their 6th man.

Uh, Shumpert is one of the best defenders already and Chandler is was defender of the year. No defense, huh? Is that what the Celtics and Pacers were saying in the playoffs? The Knicks defense was good. They had problems scoring w/ JR Smith giving zero offense and Chandler putting up 4pts per game, alone with 20mill going to an injured Amare, and Novak not playing.

He can finish but when have you seen Barg in the post? Only when he's forced to, otherwise he runs for the three point line and has a nap. Then chucks up weak 3's.
