Honestly, I don't really care one way or the other...
Even as a fan that watches most of my teams games, I barely even knew that it was happening until I started seeing "X team has showdown with Y team for in season tournament" type headlines.
There's no prestige in it, it's just for generating early season headline while teams are still figuring things out.
