Hard to argue against it being a solid trade for the Pacers.

If you take into consideration Pascal Siakam is due a super max this offseason at which point he becomes a trade-negative; I would say the raptors did better than could have been anticipated. Was the haul small? Sure, but there’s no guarantee everyone will be healthy and playing well through the years the raptors are set to acquire some draft capital back. Indiana is not a huge market. They won’t break bank and they will not be able to afford everything they currently have.. therefore the raptors are my winner in this trade as the Pacers are HIGHLY unlikely to win a championship in the coming three seasons. Let’s also take note that this years Pacers team is statistically the greatest offensive team of all time.. and they just traded a huge piece to that. We’ll see.. sometimes these things have a way of kicking you in the as.
