So....the tfc look like legit contenders. Based on their history and management of the team I never thought it would happen.

We certainly are on a roll.

Giovinco can't be stopped in MLS, and Jozy is heating up.

It could have been 4-1 last night if it wasn't for Joe Bendik.

The Orlando defense is awful. Another great road win for TFC. Let's hope we haven't peaked too early.

Jozy is simply on fire.

I'm actually really pleasantly surprised they're this good right now. I hope the playoffs this time turns out better than last year's though.

Another gritty, hard fought road win. I'm loving this team right now! Altidore has been huge for the team since his return, I hope he can stay fit for the last 8 games.
The defense was shaky last night, especially in the 1st half and we could of conceded more than one, I'm not a fan of 3 at the back.

Top of the East with 6 of the last 8 games at home, things are looking pretty good right now!

Hope they go far in the playoffs. I just hate 1 and done playoff games in any sports. One team could beat another 9 out of 10 times. It just that 1 time happens to be a playoff elimination game.

Awful considering TFC was up a man for much of the second half.

We seem to lose every time we are up a man, this team lacks creativity at times.

Forbes came out with their yearly valuation list. TFC is worth 245 million, 4th in MLS according to them. That's actually more than a few NHL teams.

MLSE paid 10 million for the team just over a decade ago.

Should be a win tonight, even with Giovinco out.

Then again, TFC may just TFC.

Yup, pretty sound investment... and in the grand scheme of things MLS Soccer isn't even a very big league yet.

It's going to completely pass by the NHL in the States within the next 10 years to join the other "big three" leagues in North America. Hockey just can't keep up to the popularity of soccer.

What I'm most excited for is a "vince carter" revolution in Canadian soccer. My hope is that with TFC's infrastructure and the upcoming Canadian Professional League that homegrown talent will (a) stay and play for Canada and (b) qualify for a world cup.

The problems with hockey are numerous, and while I love the speed and skill of the game, the long term injuries and cost of playing for a family both monetarily and in terms of time disallow most first generation Canadians from participation. I'm sure the same is true in the US.

Basketball and Soccer are the future, and while they may not overcome the popularity of the NFL in the US and the NHL in Canada, I believe in the long term they are the two sports with the most growth opportunity worldwide.

Put it this way, my kids will definitely be playing both of those sports.
I believe in Masai.

All well said.

The NFL in the States, and the NHL here in Canada will always likely be king, but world wide both Basketball and Soccer continue to show the most potential growth. Already the number one sport in several countries, both sports continue to get bigger.

The Canadian Premier League starting in 2018 is proof of that, and will only make the players here better.

It's crazy to think in 2018 how many "pro" Canadian teams will exist.

Three MLS teams, and likely 6 CPL teams to start will be outstanding for the growth of soccer, and our Canadian program as we try to reach the World Cup.

Ugly win tonight, but without Giovinco that's to be expected.

Jozy continues to be ON FIRE. Nine goals in his last 10 games for club and country.
