Wooooo that was a great game. I fully expected TFC to crumble in that environment but they withstood the pressure. I also want to say if we had 30k fans in a stadium we would be louder

Man, I don't watch soccer that much other than TFC, but that sucks to be a defender like Van der Wiel with the handball. It's like he tapes his hand to try to avoid situations like that..but there was no avoiding that. Can't believe that's a penalty.

And, wow, I'm loving Auro's game. In basketball we talk about bball IQ, but man this kid has so much soccer IQ on both sides! He's looking good on the left side too as he seems to connect with Seba well with those long lead passes. He defends with swagger too. Love it!

Good "win" but c'mon. If I'm Vanney I'm ripping into the players. We were up 2-1 and guys like Osorio are gesturing "it's over" VC-style to the crowd and Jozy was too busy starting **** instead of putting his head down. No way should we have lost this match. The players didn't focus in the last 20 minutes. Made too many simple mistakes, gave the ball away easily, etc. I also wasn't a fan of the Vazquez for Delagdo sub. I'd have taken off Jozy and overloaded the midfield instead. Anyway, I'll take the win on away goals cause Tigres are the mexican champs. Gotta think that was the strongest team left in the tournament but Club America won't be easy either. Also, am I the only one that thinks penalties after two legs without extra time is insane? I'm assuming Luke Wileman knew what he was talking about.

Great win! ... err loss last night. Incredible free kick - fantastic! I was a little surprised just how gracious the Tigers coaches and players were after the game. Nice.

It's amazing how the team seems to collapse under the pressure. Those long balls and speed from the Tigers ... you certainly don't see that kind intensity in MLS. I really think this experience will pay dividends. Looking forward to the next round.

I have a bad feeling about Drew Moor this season. I think he'll cost TFC a few games.

I agree we didn't look great in the last 40 minutes of the game, but sometimes that's how games go when the other team is pressing so much to score. We faltered, but we didn't fold.

Jozy didn't make much of an impact in the game, and I agree, he gets too emotional at times... But he also holds the ball up so well in the top half, and defenders struggle to defend him. Hopefully he has a better two games in the next round.

Club America is going to be very tough, we really are in the strongest side of the bracket.
