It makes it more likely they will face each other, which is exactly what the committee wants, even if it's in a regional final instead of the Final Four or the championship game.

I mean, I want to see it. Don't you?
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

You know what really impresses me about Clark?

It's her ability to rebound from the guard position. 7 boards a game. That will translate to the pros.

I can see her and Aliyah Boston becoming a feared duo in the sport for years to come.

Tuning into ESPN early for the UConn game and seeing Tennessee reminded me how big of a rivalry that was back in the day. My grandmother used to hate their guts lol

Kinda rooting for them to pull off the comeback, cause I want UConn to beat them.

She was great with the ball in hand. Super efficient, good decisions, and decisive.

Meanwhile, I wouldn't be an Aussie if I didn't tip my cap to Georgia Amoore. Out of the tourney, but just named in the Australian Opals Olympic Squad.

I'm a big Amoore fan, but she picked the wrong day to have a bad game and is the main reason Virginia Tech is out of the tournament. With Liz Kitley out, Matilda Ekh and Clara Strack stepped up and had big games, while Amoore shot abominably, including missing the most wide open layup she's ever going to see at a key moment down the stretch, and had several very careless live ball turnovers. Plus, the opposing point guard, Jada Watkins for Baylor, an 8.2ppg player on the season, went off for a career high 28 points.

As a fan of Amoore's it was hard to watch.

With the way she shoots and at her size, she's going to throw in some bad shooting games.
Totally agree on the layup and most particularly the turnovers.

Have a bad day in a tournament, you might not get a redo.

Tough lesson, but she's a gamer.

Clark is gonna dominate in the pros, too. Even better finishers, even better screens, even more time to concentrate on being better. Sheā€™s smooth going forward from 30+ feet, and smooth stepping back from 25+. Not a deluxe handle, but sheā€™ll be just about the nastiest combo guard in the league from day one.

I'm not sure what Mulky wanted Van Lith to do. She was outmatched badly on top of the fact that she was sick. That was just poor coaching and she put her in a horrible spot.

I was talking about this earlier, but it's crazy to me that the last time UConn didn't make the tournament (not counting the Covid year) was 7 years before I was born

Also, the fact Geno has 22 Final Four appearances to 23 total losses in the tournament.
