I had no idea Becky Hammon went undrafted!
Crazy in the context of nowadays where lottery picks can get cut in training camp.

Also RIP Silver Stars. I remember randomly picking Marie Ferdinand as one of my favorite players back in the mid 2000s. I totally forgot they became the Aces.

Yeah, I remember rumors on the GB going around that Hammon was acting entitled on the Spurs because she was a WNBA star, and it drove me nuts. We're talking about someone who was seen as too-small to be a top tier female player who clawed her way to a Hall of Fame career. The idea that she would go over to the far grander stage of men's basketball and expect everything to be handed to her is just completely out of character.

To me it's been so heartening seeing Hammon take the head coaching gig - at the franchise she used to play on, even if in another city with a different name - and immediately looking like the sharpest mind in the W was telling, particularly when considering she was taking over for a former NBA player.

I really want Becky to get a NBA head coaching job. Heck, before we threw a fortune at Monty, I wanted her to get my Pistons’ head coaching job.

There’s zero reason for someone with her demeanor and acumen to not have one of the 30 spots. I understand that some players might still have an issue with it, but f them.

Becky is a boss.

If any player has an issue being coached by a hall of famer, they're a straight up bitch. I can't sanitize this.

Becky has earned her way under the tutelage of a GOAT coach. If she had a penis she would have been an NBA head coach already

Becky was bad AF as a player. I saw her regularly with the Liberty, but not much after she went to San Antonio, and I didn't see her play in college.

[The NCAA video is actually the most fun. She even shows off her post game at 2:44]

Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

Becky was absolutely nasty :noway: her first step off the dribble was lethal

If she wants it, I hope Becky gets a shot to coach in a larger, more competitive league.

She's really good and I'm sure she'd enjoy being the one to break that glass ceiling and succeed where no woman has even been given the opportunity.

Becky is going to be providing NBA analysis this season for ESPN. I look forward to hearing Coach break things down and showing everyone why she's more than overqualified to coach in the NBA.
