Made my mind up. I want Devin Booker.

There is a lot to like about Booker. The main thing I don't like is he'll still be 18 when next season starts. No way Cliff will play him and it will probably be 2/3 seasons before he gets much rotation. He looks like a long term valuable asset, but I wouldn''t mind getting someone who can help in year 1. In any trade down scenario agree he'd be a good target.

I'm pretty opposed to passing on better talent to get lesser guys who are more ready. That's how you cap your potential going forward and unnecessarily limit your trade options. If we want a pure SG, Booker should be a real option. I'm a bit worried that he's too much of a one trick pony, but it's one trick we really could use so I won't be mad if he's the guy.

Really random suggestion if the FO doesn't like what's on the board at 9:

CHA: Roberts, #9, 2015 2nd
BOS: Olynyk, #16, #28

With #16, take FO's choice of PGs left on the board - Jerian Grant, Cam Payne, or Tyus Jones.
With #28, take FO's choice of wings left on the board - Justin Anderson, Tyler Harvey, Aleksandar Vezenkov, Anthony Brown, etc.

Boston gets to move up, we get to bring on a nice PG prospect and improved big depth while still being able to take a chance on a shooter. Can't imagine BOS will be too excited about Roberts with Thomas, Smart, and Pressey already on the roster, but Roberts is expiring so maybe they'd think it's worth it to move up.

Thoughts?

It's his nickname and his new middle name, I don't see what's so dumb about it.

In my opinion, nicknames are only nicknames for a reason.

From what I have read on a french website, it is the name of his mother who raised him alone when his father died...

Booker reminds me of Danny Green with shorter arms and average at best defense.
