The immediate meltdown in the draft chat when they announced Frank's name was pretty funny.

That draft taught me to never rule out anything with this team, no matter how absurd it sounds. I remember thinking there wasn't even a slight chance they were taking Frank with that pick, even after we started hearing rumors draft day that they were interested in him.

Now I just look at mocks sometimes and let UNCNYC do the scouting for me.

Same. I used to get really excited for college ball and scouting prospects but now it's all so monetized and blocked by paywalls and whatnot that I let UNC do all the heavy lifting. I'll spend about 10 minutes on the top guys around draft time and make a highly educated opinion based on that information

So it’s basketball but off NBA topic: A post of remembrance for Billy Packer, who passed away yesterday.

I’m old enough to remember the earliest days of ACC basketball on TV. Jim Thacker and Billy Packer were a great announcer combo, where some huge games were memorably called. Billy Packer brought knowledge, expression that wasn’t fake, opinion that didn’t sway too far to a particular team, and enough zing to make you laugh on occasion. He parlayed his excellence into the star color gig for network television.

RIP Billy.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Have lost all interest in college basketball other than as draft prospects, and that's not enough to get me to actually watch games.

I used to love college bball, but the product has just been really bad for the last 15 years. Its incredibly boring to watch. That Felton/May Carolina title is about the last time I religiously watched.

i havent watched a college basketball game in over a decade, maybe 15 years.

I hope Manek stays on at Perth, he’s had some teething issues with his first pro gig but overall he’s been good

Passport bros etc... or men who travel for women are hilarious.
They often brag about traveling for these *Dimes* and then you NEVER see them with a dime girlfriend if a woman at all.

If they do post themselves with a DIME, it is for a single photo or video.
Which has me to believe that she probably had a fee out of their range of pay lol.

My biggest gripe with men who travel are the underage girls they might take advantage of which I think is HORRENDOUS,
and DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! Not saying they do at all just saying that age laws in other countries need to change so that can stop.

Not trying to put looks as EVERYTHING just interesting they make all these videos about PERFECTION and they never
post anything worth traveling a block for let alone thousands of miles lol.

Little do they know if they are ugly in Detroit, they're gonna be ugly in another country as well.
You cannot leave ugly behind in your country.
If you are an Astranaut you will be ugly to the alien if you are ugly on earth.
Ugly travels with you everywhere. I tried to leave ugly behind but I found that it has snuck in my luggage.

Shout out to both Phylicia and Angela Bassett. Both EXTRA CLASSY, smooth, beautiful brown gems. fThey've always represented women in general and black women to near perfection.

Fats, what do you think is more expensive.

Resigning Mason Plumlee this summer or Enzo Fernandez?

Definitely Mason. Mason to Benfica to replace Enzo.

I refreshed twiiter 400 times this afternoon. That was either the greatest transfer window in the history of the Premier League or the worst. I guess we'll find out lol.

Boehly has spent like 600M since he got the club. That's like half a Plumlee.

Should send Pulisic to Leeds to be with Adams and McKennie.

I want to solute Tepper for what appears to be his attempt at ending the "old boys" network or something of that regard. He talks about race and appears to realize there is a lack of diversity in the league. I am a fair person (that is why I brought up the fact that he addressed the situation which I truly respect in its own right) but I am also a person who likes actions more than words... I must admit it feels very refreshing to be a fan of the Steelers, but Teppers comments did make me think of rooting for my former team a bit next year. To be continued...

I'd be interested if I had the time.

Tomorrows Carolina VS Dook game is gonna be weird af. No Dean Smith, Roy Williams or Roach K.

And both teams are barely winning lol. I think they should have hired Dawkins as coach. But anyways GO HEELS .

Congrats to the new Duke coaching staff in their victory against my TAR HEELS.

While I think that there were a few bad calls in favor of Duke, I do not think they did THAAT much to influence the game.

I do NOT wish Duke good luck going forward lol, but I do want to congratulate them for a well deserved 1st victory.

GO HEELS!!!!!!

Side note...

Ashley is A++
It's time to have a serious conversation about her being on the same level as Stephanie in our hearts. I'll be devastated when she leave for a bigger gig, same as I was when Stephanie left us.

She's on the Mt Rushmore of Hornets, Bobcats related females - Stephanie, Ashley, Eryn and Jordan the Honeybee who married Denny Hamlin. Does anyone else have an argument to be included?
