Oh boy, its Fats isnt it?
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

If the road tip was 5 hours and he put a playlist together there would only be a handful of songs because most of the songs that he likes go on average 11 mins each.

we could start the trip with a 30 minute bathtub gin (phish) from winston-salen 1997, followed by a 20 minute playing in the band (grateful dead) from venetta, oregon 1972. both brilliant pieces of music. two songs, 50 minutes, level of boredom = 0, number of times mind blown = 10.

soon to follow:
elizabeth reed (allman bros) ~13 minutes
running like the wind (marshall tucker band) ~10 minutes

whoa, this thread got funky all of a sudden. i LOLed at primoz brezec. also, loving the earth wind and fire shout outs. i am partial to serpentine fire but they are thoroughly good. i watched a documentary on the history of funk earlier this year and george clinton made a good point, at some point in funk history, fans had to choose between earth wind and fire, and sly and the family stone. kind of a beatles/stones dichotomy. myself, i appreciate both. in the past several years i've explored 60's and 70's funk from around the world, with great success. nigeria/ghana/benin in west africa being particularly funky. so much great music around. i wish i still had my college radio show to play weird **** from everywhere in the middle of the night. ah well.

edit: also i noticed people saying scarlett johansson as a dream girl. well, i saw this film awhile back called UNDER THE SKIN, and all i'll say is definitely check that movie out when it's released. definitely.

a road trip of me and Fats listening to soul would be a great movie, a cult classic. A 40-year-old American and 19-year-old Russian (they would switch it up, who the hell knows where Latvia is... or could this be a running gag? Fats calling me Russian when I insist I'm Latvian? good idea.) going on a 5-hour trip to the draft lottery in hopes of the Cats landing some college superstar and us getting our dreams crushed. this writes itself.

lets make this happen lamar. we start with a few well produced youtube clips, then a book deal, followed by a full feature documentary, then our rightful seats on the set of TNT NBA.

although, i do have a degree in geograhy, so i do know latvia, :) well, kinda... haha. but its funnier in your version. i will play the ignorant american who thinks everything east of germany is the USSR and everything west of germany is england. we have a dash cam, because all russians have dash cams. you drink heavy amounts of vodka. i refuse to eat anything other than hamburgers and pizza. meanwhile we travel all over europe scouting various nba prospects, while debating our 20 favorite NBA players of all time.

along the way we meet a 6'8" australian named slam who is also traveling across europe as the lead vocalist in an 80s cover band. and of course slam has a pet kangaroo who travels with him, because we all know that all australians have pet kangaroos.

Lamar will be played by Seann William Scott - who uses the worst Russian/Latvian accent of all time.

Fats will be played by Denzel Washington - even though Fat's isn't African American or 58 years old - but all great movies need Denzel Washington.

The car they road trip in will be this one:

The love interest will be played by this chick:

and Chuck Norris will make a cameo as a road side mechanic when their car breaks down on the A2.

Slam will be played by Danny Devito and the Kangaroo played by a ferret.

I've narrowly missed them just about everytime they've come through the Carolinas. I even had tickets to the show with Coheed and Cambria in March over spring break but other stuff came up. :( Absolutely #1 on the list of bands I've yet to see live. Parallax 2 is probably my favorite album ever. Well, it's great to see another BTBAM fan on here!

Huh... I was like "That must be the rules topic, that I forgot to read" :)

Hi guys! I've started following Bobcats rather recently. Since I didn't know much about Cats or Charlotte, or NC (well, I didn't know AT ALL Cats were from Charlotte, and Charlotte was in NC, pardon my Europe-ass ignorance :tooth ), the main reason I got into it is... MJ obviously. Being a great fan of his (isn't everyone - except Bad Boy Pistons, of course  ), I was interested in how he was doing as a club owner, especially because people were bashing him as an executive. I think his problem might could have been (I hope I got tense right, pardon my English) the same as when he was a young player - overconfidence. But, who could blame - Michael :king: I think he's doing fine now, that he and his team have a long term strategy for Cats, who are slowly but surely going to build a tough team (some signs of it we've seen this season already - and it's the 2nd youngest squad in the league). Watching a few Cats games, I started to like this team, Kemba who I consider nearly great player already, MKG who's got heart and talent, Hobe  with some obviously Jordan-taught moves, Biz the Protector...

So, I really got to like this place :) Hope we are going to enjoy Cats/Hornets success together, over next years.
