Always nice to win, though Portland no doubt happy to take the L and move above Hornets in the draft stack to get a shot at #4; may be the difference between nabbing Cody Williams or not (he's not dropping past 4)

Oden's stats for his first 82 games make me sad, he would've never matched KD but I think he would've been a low end All-NBA guy

I know the focus is PJ vs. Grant Williams and I don't discount the impact of Grant organizing the defense, but the impact on style of play of subtracting Terry Rozier and adding Micic is shocking. We look like a different team on that differential alone. Iso vs. extra pass. Everything else is gravy. The new players have done everything asked. The holdovers like Cody and Nick are finally playing better. When this streak started they stuck out like sore thumbs. Double doubles for both players. Cody's 10 assists are a career high. He had a couple dimes to Nick down the stretch that showcased his playmaking ability. If he's not making his shots, he has to add something valuable to his game. He's going iso less although he did attempt one of his atrocious fadeaways. He's moving the ball more overall.

great that our defense has been pretty good since the trade. disappointed that our offense is back to peak clogged toilet garbage. all that ball movement and cutting we saw in first 3 games with new guys is gone.

agreed 100%. all i ever wanted is for the front office to pick a direction. on that note, bryce and thor need to be gone next year in place of vets. we'll have enough youngsters to develop between miller, nsj, mann, mark and 2024 draft pick(s).
