Certainly looks that way...and will the Hornets as an organization just simply not address it? I guess all they can say is that it's a legal matter...

Mitch doesn't seem like the tampering type.

Honestly, his presence on the roster long term could damage LaMelo's brand, and his brand is interwoven with the Hornete brand due to his superstar potential.

High doubt. Melo is a standalone player. His stardom isn't based on Charlotte and will not be affected by Miles' situation. At this point, he has his Lin style stans, and the casuals will come when/if he wins games or puts up gaudy stats. None of them will care about Miles' personal life.

The only way Miles ever plays in a Hornets uniform again is if the victim fabricated her story or evidence and the case is dismissed, like Richaun Holmes

I very much doubt he will be rehabilitated here if he's guilty. We'll move on from him and he'll go somewhere else to rebuild

Deadline for taking the QO is October 1st. If he doesn't take it, he will lose significant money in the NBA with no extension options if he ever gets to play again, so I imagine he'll take it.

At this point it's very likely that Miles's own counsel is requesting this. The prosecutor wouldn't be able to keep delaying a hearing over and over again.

Yeah, what's the strategy here from defense? Longer they push it,,less public pressure to convict? Better chance wife stops cooperating with prosecution?
