Think Kemba will be good to go tomorrow. Just seems like they were finishing up the details of the contract. Now, we just need Biyombo to settle that lawsuit and become a Bobcat.

As the immortal Derrick Coleman once said..."whoop de damn do"

Irrelevant, worthless, but what I've come to expect from you.
Battery wrote:Assists are one of the most overrated NBA stats. If you're a point guard on a bad passing team, good chance you're the one who makes the last pass before a shot is put up.

Not on the Bobcats. You don't watch the games so I understand why you'd be ignorant as to that, but LB had DJ pass it off and hide in the corner. Silas took some of that off but Jax was more likely to be the guy with the ball in his hands. DJs usage rate was pretty reasonable.

Battery wrote:
Yeah like Chris Paul right? You're being foolish.

Uh buddy, that is why Chris Paul is a SUPERSTAR point guard and what separates him from the great Steve Nash.

How many MVPs does nash have? How many does Paul have?

Nuff said.
Battery wrote:Not only does Paul takes chances, he rarely turns it over. But in order to be great and take your team to the next level you need to push the envelop which is something DJ does not do. Why don't you comment on DJ??????? Instead of weakly attempting to rip apart my arguments with your ridiculous oh he averages 6.1 on a crappy team so he must be one helluva passer.

Why don't you post something of substance. Anything really. You can even go to another thread and do it, if I intimidate you so much. It's okay. Just try it!

Battery wrote:Marbury averaged 10 apg and he was the worst at involving his teammates.

The worst, eh? More useless hyperbole and rhetoric.
Battery wrote:Dude would pound the ball into the court for 20 seconds and then either shoot it or make one pass to a teammate who had no choice but to shoot. Great way for Marbury to pad his own scoring and assist totals. On the surface it looks like 20 and 10 is fantastic, but that is not the case when the rest of the team has no assists. Marbury should have had 15 assists every game because he had the ball in his hands for so long each possession.

So you're now suggesting DJ pounds the ball for 20 seconds. That actually isn't the case. DJ is a playmaker, you're just too blind with hatred to see it. It's pretty clear to everyone here, you've never once bothered to look at him with your eyes.
Battery wrote:The problem with DJ is non-aggressive play and slow decision making. Dispute that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kIM89T4MPs

What a slow witted fool that DJ is!

But since you think simply stating **** is a good argument, it's my turn.

Battery isn't very open minded and often finds himself making conclusions based on little evidence.

I can give a little insight into Will Blalock as he played in the Aussie League last year.

He wasn't that good, hence why he only lasted one season. Can't see him staying around, stranger things have happened though.

Was hoping we might have a token Aussie, Golden State have grabbed one for camp.

That is definitely a thinner Diaw than I expected.

Durrell Summers is the newest addition to our training camp roster. He is a 6-5 SG from Michigan State and was playing for the Maine Red Claws.

I like Summers. Super athletic. Was the best player on that MSU team for a couple of years

Mike Tisdale is on the Maine Red Claws I think we should of brought him in because he is 7-1. I know he is rail thin, but his height is uncoachable and he has some skill. If he is able to gain some weight and learn to be more physical he could be a nice backup center in this league. I saw he was already trying out for someone, but I think he has a better chance of making our roster then the 76ers roster. Also, would like to give Antonio Anderson, Jeremy Hazell, Terrico White, Dajuan Summers, Jerome Dyson (Kembas boy), Gilbert Brown, Luther Head, Corey Higgens, J.P. Prince, Chris White and Greg Smith. I think a few of these guys could be okay deep bench guys.

Mike Tisdale from Illinois? The goofy looking dude with the neck that pokes out like a turtle? Yeah no thanks.

We have 11 guys right now. 13 if Bismack and Kwame come back. 14 if Cunningham does. We really need a combo guard.

There was a list on the gen board or BCP I think. I'll try and find it again
