I'm ready to give up on him, can we trade his ass?

Didn't New Jersey want him? I wonder if they could swap Petro for him.

Yes, I do mean Johan Petro, that's how sour I am on TT at the moment.

That's exactly why I told all my friends who asked for my advice not to take him in a fantasy league. I'd definitely agree with the trading part.

:D :D :D :o  :-? Trade Checker 5956402 TT contract is way too large and DJ is going to want big money next year so :P
We trade DJ Augustine and Tyrus Thomas Now to Houston for TWILL, LEE, Thabeet and 2012 First.
DJ in Texas fills seats TT provides more points and defense in paint. Lee is 6'5' point. We cut Ely. And later(3-1-2012) trade Diaw/Najeria expiring2012 contracts and then we amensity or trade Diop expiring next season to go after FA after 7-1- 2012.
Roster
KW, CL, RW
Hendo ,TWill, Carroll
Mags ,UPS
DJ White,Diaw, Najeria
BB, BM, Thabeet, Diop

Do you guys ever ask yourself if the other team would actually like the trades you post? Pointguard and powerforward are Houston's deepest positions. Why would they give away two of their young wings, AND a first round pick just to add to the logg jam at their deepest positions.

Yeah, if Cho called Houston and proposed that deal, he would hear a dial tone before he even finished the proposal.

As I've said since the day he signed the contract, Tyrus Thomas, while still a contributer who brings some positive things to the table, is over paid and will be a contra asset in any trade due to his salary.

The Tyrus to NJ for Morrow deal is the most realistic I've heard and now that theyve reasigned humphries, it would be less likely.

Our best bet for getting value in return for him is to hope a playoff team looses their starting 4 to injury near the deadline and will be willing to take on Thomas for a salary dump and perhaps a second rounder or first in the late 20s.

Off the top of my head, I think Tyrus has some value to a team like Memphis or Los Angeles

Memphis? Yes. Since Arthur is out for the season, they could use a backup big. If there was any merit to the Mayo/McRoberts swap, I think Memphis would entertain a Thomas/Mayo swap. The only problem; I don't see how Mayo fits with our current group.

DJ - Kemba
Hendo - Mayo

Mayo will eat into Kemba's minutes. I think DJ would have to go out at the same time, creating a situation where Kemba/Mayo starts at PG and the other is a Crawford/Terry scorer off the bench.

 :( :o :-?  Oops ,Your right Houston Does have too many power forwards. Sorry.
How about TT,Diop and DJ to NOH for Jack and Emeka trade... Checker 5956562. That might not get the dial tone because then NOH/NBA front office could Amensity Diop along with Kaman's expiring and trade for a center now or wait and let the new owners try to sign several FA in 2012 along with the two top 10 draft picks they already are getting. Hum am I still dreamin on a rainy afternoon  :( :o

I'm sure NO would be interested in that by why would Charlotte? Jack's almost 30 years old and Okafor (also about to turn 30) has 40+ million remaining on his contract. His deal is even worse than Thomas'. If they were going to go this route, they'd be better off just keeping Augustin and TT and amnestying Diop.

No thank you. I'd rather see Tyrus on injured reserve than watch Okafor in a Bobcats uniform again. ewww
