Seriously dude, it would be really helpful if you could space out your posts more into paragraphs. The wall of text can be tough to get through sometimes and I hate so see you put that much effort into articulating your thoughts and have it be so hard to get through.

1. who do you think would be willing to coach this team mid-season? you really think george karl is coming out of retirement to coach a team that has fired 6 head coaches in the past 8 years? you think mark jackson will give up his cozy announcing job for this gig?

2. are you OK with having patrick ewing as your head coach, because that is the most likely scenario of clifford is fired?

I don't want him to be fired mid-season, that's for sure. I'm also not in favor of firing him outright after this season, unless we just nosedive to 25 wins or something.

What I do think has become pretty self-evident is that Clifford needs a strong offensive coordinator at his side. Someone who can not only help install an entirely new offense, more in line with the motion and 3 point shooting emphasis we see from successful franchises in recent years, and someone who can draw up plays in sideline out of bounds situations. I think if he had someone like that as his right hand man a lot of the problems we have would be dealt with.

Aside from that Cliff just needs to pull his head out of his ass and yank Al from obvious defensive situations.

Since Ewing is associate head coach how to do you both entice a serious offensive coach onto the team (has no shot at being #2 guy) and how do you get Cliff to listen to him? Cliff seems pretty stubborn about stuff in general, but I get the feeling that what we've seen publicly is minor in comparison to how he feels about his offense.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Who is our offensive coach?

Clifford obviously isn't
Ewing is a big mans coach with the communication skills of a 5 year old
Price is a shooting coach
Weiss, dont know about him
Delany is a scout
Hetzel is a development coach
Silas is an offensive coach i think

#organization isnt a strength of mine in this context. Im not great at understanding how things do and dont make sense to other people or how they will perceive things. That was basically my rant to end all rants though. Youve heard it all before Im sure. I definitely should have started out with a warning. Ill try to do better in the future if I have something relevant to say.

The way how the Kings honestly fired Mike Malone because he didn't coach the style of play that the GM envisioned when he put together the roster open up the floodgates for Cho to fire Clifford for the same reason. Clifford is supposed to be a defensive minded coach but he seem to value offense more than defense. Outside of Big Al, Neal, and Roberts we are built to be a defensive minded team that run the floor and try to score off turnovers in transition.

In the event that Clifford is fired, I want everyone to know that Mark Jackson is the last guy I want as a replacement.

Who would you want that may be available?

Off the top of my head the only person I would definitely want is George Karl. I doubt many would disagree that he would be the ideal catch but it just probably isn't likely. I really don't know who we could realistically get or who we should go after. I think we should have hired someone like Hubie Brown to teach our guys how to play the year we drafted Kemba and Biz while looking for a long term solution once we had a reasonably developed core but it is too late to go that route with the re-branding and all. If Clifford can't figure it out we need a guy that we can hire and expect to be our coach for a long time instead of another placeholder.

might as well have some local black leader, preacher or AA meeting leader coach the time. at least it would spark the attendance, if he's a well known man in the community.

I don't want to fire Clifford. At least not yet.
