Lance was so bad the guy we traded for him didn't get his own thread. Welcome to Charlotte Spencer.

Could help us immensely. Welcome to Charlotte!

Said it the moment we traded for him: He's a C version of McRoberts.

I think the fan base is going to like him a lot once they see him playing.

Hawes has had a much better career than Mcbob. Hawes is better than Mcbob.

Between Hawes and Batum, this roster has gotten a lot more dynamic. I'm pretty excited.

Not going to argue with BrotherDave, but I'm modestly pleased with the having Hawes on the team. Not expecting much from him, but I am curious to see a lineup with Hawes at center and MKG at PF.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Apparently Cho is a close family friend of the Hawes'. Spencer said he and his uncle were very close, so at the very least I imagine he's pretty cool with being in Charlotte.

Yeah, Hawes said in his intro interview video on the Hornets site that he knew Cho back when Hawes was in college, sounded like they went pretty far back.

I really like the spacing that Hawes may be able to provide.

He's was always an easy late pick up in fantasy. Especially when he was in Philly.

He has no hops, but I like Hawes.

Thread should be called "Grounded" the Spencer Hawes Thread.

Is he even going to play ahead of Marvin and Frank?

Probably both, if not more, unjustifiably and inexplicably so. Would not surprise me if Hawes is Clifford's "Maxiell" guy this year.

Cho off the cuff said the second unit would be Lin - Lamb - Marvin - Frank - Hawes.

wow, it took me a while to recognise Kemp.

Waiting for Kemp to have a flash back, mistake Hawes for McIlvaine and punch him in the throat
