I expect some backlash from some of the nutjobs, but I think the people who saw the video will agree this is probably the right move. I hope it's nothing like September, when I was legitimately scared for my friends and family's safety.

he is actually a zookeeper

http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/home/pets/viral-kangaroo-video-is-more-than-meets-the-eye/news-story/5cc6c08c2de68f0a0906b6eee5eeec20

It’s been confirmed that Mr Tonkins is a zookeeper at Taronga’s Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.
“Taronga Western Plains Zoo can confirm that Greig Tonkins is an employee at Taronga Western Plains Zoo,” a spokesperson for the zoo said in a statement.
“Good animal welfare and the protection of Australian wildlife are of the utmost importance to Taronga.
“We are working with Mr Tonkins to understand the exact circumstances of the event and will consider any appropriate action"

so of course he is now in trouble. As if the kangaroo was remotely hurt from that punch

Better soccer market - Triangle or Charlotte?

Gut says Triangle, just because they already have the decent soccer specific stadium in Cary where the Railhawks have been playing. The Railhawks are in one league above Independence and have been around longer with more established fanbase. Plus, more college soccer in the area, even though UNCC is no slouch.

The commentary is really amazing. Initially the video just made me realize that kangaroos might actually be terrifying.

I dunno. I had my defenses lowered as a child because of Winnie the Pooh I suppose, but after that critter flexed on the guy after the sucker punch, I considered if I've been mislead. Would I best one in a freak show contest? I would like to think so, at the least my logical strategy would benefit from a 10 point must system, but in an unsanctioned bout? I dunno. It's a freaky looking animal. Add it to the list of Australia's scariest.

oh i wouldn't take one on in hand to hand combat. some grow to 7 foot or so, but they don't normally worry about people too much

Can someone explain how the Panthers and Canes boards still have a Bobcats icon? I think it was changed back to that because it said "Hornets" earlier this year, I believe.
