Obviously it's a down year. And if things don't click in nicely this season, fingers will be pointed at him, and for good reasons.
He tries to make too many extra passes, and rushes some unnecessary shots too often. Like he is trying to prove something while he should just focus on his strenghts (aka his versatility and "annoying" long arms in D).

on the other hand, i never read anyone saying he is a defensive star. He's never been great in 1/1 D, but he can defend above average 4 positions. What makes him a good defender is his versatility and mobility. He lacks a lot of toughness to be a great 1/1 defender.

3 in a row feels like winning a playoff series after that brutal 5 game losing streak. LETS GO HORNETS!

This team is so exciting when are all locked in. When they are not: train wreck.

If we had lost tonight after the Pacers, Celtics and Wizards lost I'd be furious at such a missed opportunity.

How about Gilly? He's come alive this week.

Nets announcers say Kemba and Batum are players of the game. This wasn't a great game for Kemba.

Nets show replay, looks like last ball was off Belinelli and no review. Break for Hornets.

Nice win, should have never been that tough. We really struggle when Kemba doesn't ball out of his mind.

And it's too early to think we turned the corner with our defense. Defense was putrid tonight.

In 1st half it was almost toronto's match up level defense.

Curious to read what Clifford will say, but i would not be surprised if he says that players thought the job had been done at half time or that they were not ready to play in 2nd half.

In 1st half, they were shooting in the 36ish range from what i recall (and worst from 3). The only stat that did not reflect the defense was their only 4 or so turnovers).

In second half, they had a stellar 3rd quarter where they probably shot in the 60ish% range considering where they finished (42%, and they shot worst in the 4th i think).

Anyway, a win is a win. Hornets also lost some games they dominated, playing well this season. The nets did not deserve to win this game.

MKG MKG MKG. What a good feeling when MKG balls out like he did tonight. Knowing Walker had a bad game and MKG came to the rescue. Now lets get this from him more often and we will find ourselves back at top of the east again

They would beat us if Lin played 8-)
To be frank, I hope Lin does well with the Nets once he is recover from his injury :)

Yeah, Lin has been mostly out this season, tough year for him. The Nets have issues with PG health for some weird reason.
