Good way to move him toward the scrap heap. They must NOT pick up the final year options on Bouk or Kai.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I can't imagine a scenario now where we pick up his 4th year option.

Nick's Smith effort in his few minutes in this preseason game seals the deal for Bouknight, who has never ever put forth that effort
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

The general board thinks Miller can't pass lol.

Also I third the sentiment that Bouknight has never once put forth similar effort to that NS Jr hustle play.

honestly after his injury or even now I don't see why you just don't cut him. You guys already have Ball, Rozier, Sumner, Martin, Smith Jr, Baily, and I'm assuming Frank I don't think Bouknight is beating any of those guys out is he? Seems like the roster is full I don't even think Frank may make the team.

Rod is also reporting it. He's on an expiring contract now.

I would've been pretty surprised if they did pick it up at this point. Between him and Kai, what an epic failure of a draft. The Kai pick is compounded by the fact it was for a future pick which has crippled our ability to make a trade with future picks involved.

I think this makes him easier to trade as salary filler. I am not saying dump him, but rather if we can find a decent vet that can fill a role at some point then the swap isn't asking much of acquiring team.

I don't know how he got his third year option picked up last year it was obvious then he was hot garbage.

I guess at least Mitch didn't triple down on his Kai Jones/James Bouknight mistakes, though Kai really gave him no option did he?

I mean, where is Bouknight except for dead **** last on this team? We've drafted 3 players at his position since he was drafted (2 years ago) because of how much he sucks. It's a wonder he's still on the roster tbh.
