Bouk was just saying he was excited to be back since he hasn't played in so long too.

I *literally* came in this thread to ask if there was any hope that Bouknight got shipped out in one of these deals and I missed it and see this -- great news!

Good riddance.

He was a horrible combination of a bad basketball player and an unlikeable person. I have no clue why we kept him around for as long as we did. We should have cut ties well him well before this, but seeing him no longer on our team is one of the few bright spots I have in watching all these long-time Hornets leave us.

I had to do a double take 18 months ago when I read we were picking up his and Kai's third year options.

They were both such obvious mistakes after the end of their second years, no Idea WTF Mitch was thinking other than he didn't want to admit his mistakes/sunk cost delusion.

We waived two first round picks less than 3 seasons later. That's a big whiff.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

That whole draft class was a big miss.

Kai lost his mind and got waived.
Bouknight has no intangibles and got waived.

Thor is the last man standing and he's somehow gotten worse this season, so he's a goner too eventually.
