Re: Around the NBA 12
Allegedly The Lakers want a perennial all star in return for Austin Reaves. He's a solid player on a good contract. On that note I think for PJ washington and Nick richards as a package deal we should bare minimum get back Devin Booker.

Melo would have to be healthy first
So Miller

BRK fired Jacque Vaughn. Guess it's extremely unlikely that we do anything with our coaching position until we get a new GM, but will be interesting to see if the process is expedited in the event that other teams kick off coaching searches and start progressing with promising candidates.

So Miller
LaMelo will be the first player to break their wrist in the 3pt shooting competition.

Re: Around the NBA 12
I don't think either will.
Maybe Seth if he's still around when Steph also comes here to retire and they enter the contest together (wishful thinking).
I wonder if Miles will ever do the dunk contest.

I think the likelihood of the NBA ever putting Miles in the public view is very slim

Kelly Oubre is down to 31.9% from 3pt for the season and has a -2.0 BPM on a team thats 10 games over .500.

Shooting 41/26 in February. He's still volume scoring (17ppg) but his efficiency is going back down to like it was here. He shot 27% from 3 in January.

Re: Around the NBA 12
Yeah Embiid has missed 17 games out of last 25, so Philly is struggling.
Harris and Maxey have missed 10 combined in that stretch too.
So Oubre has jumped from shooting 10 times a game to shooting 15+. That is when his eff goes to ****. Which makes sense as he is a minimum contract guy.

If you want an example of how hard it is to win in the NBA look at Kings.
Their coach won coach of the year last year, they have 2 top 20-25ish guys. A top 5 pick that is playing well, a guy in the 6th man of the year conversation and they are still the 8th seed in the West.

The Kings roster isn't that great outside of those guys, but I see your point. You need A LOT of talent up and down your roster to win in this league.

Really? Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter are both solid along with 4 other guys I mentioned. They feel like maybe 1 more good depth guy away to me.

They're rotation quality guys for sure, but there isn't much depth at all on their roster beyond them. They were, by far, the healthiest team in the league last year. You can get by without depth if you get lucky like that, but if/when rotation guys start dropping you're going to take a hit on the court.
