He communicates too, you could see his little hand gesture to walk Bryce into the screen. And it looks like he's already proficient with the time-tested Clifford Hornets staple DHO. He's like what Cody Zeller might've been if he actually had a beastly NBA body.

At his age and level of experience, just really impressed by his defensive awareness, positioning, commitment to boxing out, ability to move his feet, etc. Would like to see him use his bulk and athleticism to bully his way around the boards more, and obviously brings very little on the offensive side of the ball, but with another year of Spanish sazón I think we have a player on our hands. He basically becomes our draft pick next year. In any case, the best 2 pt, 5 reb, -14 effort I've seen in quite a while. (FO - if you're reading - do not put him on the Swarm this year)

4 years, 8 million with team option for 3rd year.

i'd do that, as he's a solid 3rd centre for rebounds and defense now

I'd rather him spend the next 2 years over there and get meaningful playing time in a true professional setting instead of staying here riding our bench or just catching lobs with our g league time not learning how to truly play the game.

No knock on the g league. But he's just better off over there. I hope they go that route.

I like Nnaji but he isn’t anywhere close to being able to play in a NBA game. I am overall positive for him but he is a year or 2 away from being playable.

Agree his league future is better set by playing and learning much more overseas before trying to become a rotation player. His defense is good for his age/experience level, but needs refinement. His offense is extremely limited to dunks and pit backs. He might get better, and hope he does.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

He's started getting some rotation minutes the last couple of games. Lets hope it continues.

Barcelona brought in Willy hermangomez and vasley, so apparently Nnaji is only getting garbage minutes.

We don’t seem to be in a rush to sign a vet big, I’d like to bring Nnaji over to play g league at least

The politics of Nigeria and proclivities of Dwight give this thread title some real texture. Speaking of Africa and past Hornets' centers - Biz just signed with Griz.

He played 3:02 in a loss to Valencia today. Hopefully he gets more minutes as injuries etc occur.

Spanish outlets expecting more minutes because of Vesely's injury.
