As of now we are very lacking of forwards/centers.

My starting lineup would be

Micic
Miller
Williams
Miles
Richards

Mann, Cody Martin, Curry, I guess Thor and Mensah off the bench?

Feels like we should take a flyer on a young forward/center with either Curry or Mann with this last hour of the deadline
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Grant will take over PJ role of backup PF. He has played 91% of his mins at the 4/5 for his career.

He makes even less than PJ, so longterm you have to like that as a solid 7th man on a good team.

Let's hope we've changed the culture overnight, and brought a bit of BBIQ and toughness to the team

Gotta give it to Mitch. Really think he hit it out of the park today.

I'm happy with today's moves. I think Mann and micic will put ish Smith to bed. That dude should not be on the court. We also added some adults to the locker room. That freaking matters! The 1st rounder as well. Yes, I'm happy.

I've been one of Mitch's critics with him not making any moves when we obviously need something to happen, but today I must admit he had a good day.
My favourite is the Williams/Curry + a 1st for PJ, I love getting a 1st back especially with the 1st off Terry as well. Hopefully we could be players in the off season as well ie. Murray or the Nets Bridges.
But getting Tre Mann/Bertans & Micic (probably spelt wrong) for Hayward is surprising considering we thought he'd be bought out.
At least we have something to interest us for 2nd part of the season now

Williams will help a lot more with his personality than his on court production. He's going to play hard and set the tone. Hopefully the young players buy in. I think he will be our leader.

The OKC picks are 24 and 25 seconds, not sure from what teams since they have so many.

the 22024 is Houston's so that should be a pick around #40

The 2025 is probably irrelevant based on what they have. Maybe ATL's will be ok

Didn't we turn around and send two seconds right back out to Dallas in the PJ deal though?

Any word on what those are?

I'm seriously trying to hide my erection here! This is my favourite trade deadline in my memory as a Charlotte fan.

Micic is the savvy vet I wanted earlier in the season, we got the mouthy vet in Williams I wanted, we got depth with NBA players in Curry and Mann, heck Bertans is still better then fricking Bouknight, and they got draft picks to do it.

I'm glad the new owners were able to clean house so well.

Well, the new owners grabbed the horns. So much for sleepy Mitch finding one last round of quality trades for this franchise. It doesn’t excuse the lazy non action or poor choices over previous seasons (nod to Fats for pointing this out), but it’s more than I expected. Frankly shocked at the return for Hayward. Do they even know if he can play? Do they know something we don’t (like he’s been parked ahead of the deadline and will take the court quickly)? Either way good for us good guys.

Will be interesting to see how the minutes and rotations play out. I could see this pushing the team into more wins and out of the top 5 lottery odds, but if that happens it’s a good sign for next year.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Good to see it confirmed new ownership IS getting advice from outside MJ's circle of cronies. Hope we get to see those "external advisors" take over long before the summer.

The official press release says they are a 2024 and 2028 second. Hopefully the 2024 second is the Boston one.
