Pronunciation: \vah-SEAL-yeah me-chitch\

I've been saying Va - silly - gee Mitch - itch all these years

I'm stoked for this guy btw, we really really needed someone who is just a good setup man, and I hope we've found him

Hopefully we have found our serviceable backup PG for the next few years.

He is signed for $7.723 M this year and next and has a team option in 2025/26 for $8.109 million.

Hopefully he doesn't become a dead contract next year as we are taking on salary on all three players we aquired in the Hayward trade.

He is 6-5 point guard, so that is interesting. Seems like he can be a really good organizer, playmaker, should help Miles and Miller until LaMelo gets back. His defense was 66% epm on dunks and threes which is pretty good compared to what we are used to.

He seems like he isn't afraid to shoot 3s, but his percentage this year is pretty bad. I think with regular playing time that could be alright just based on the little I have seen.

This guys a stud, it’s absolutely criminal that dudes like this are just rotting away on benches available as filler while we’ve been starting Ish Smith for years

We finally have a good backup point guard. And he's locked up for 2 more years, I'm in shock.

Finally a backup point guard that is starter quality. Brings a tear to my eye.

Hopefully Cliff starts him and ends the Cody at PG experiment.

Excited to have a legit PG on the team to back up Melo…

Vasilije Micic was perhaps one of the best point guards of recent European history, accumulating two EuroLeague championships, a EuroLeague MVP award, and two EuroLeague Final Four MVP awards, among other accolades under the Anadolu Efes Istanbul jersey.

This is why I wanted him, he was proven before he came over.

Legitimately may be the most accomplished player we've had besides Dwight Howard and Tony Parker.

I never understood why he signed with OKC knowing he would not get playing time with SGA/Giddy/JDub all basically playing the point and not even factoring in Cason Wallace. I'm glad he finally gets a chance to show what he can do, I think he will be really good for Richards/Melo/Bridges/Miller. Also on defense due to his size/strength he's not a complete liability like all the other older Euro guards who came over late to the NBA.

OKC had his draft rights, so it was the only way for him to get into the NBA, or to be more accurate, the simplest way.
