I'm glad he finally gets a chance to show what he can do, I think he will be really good for Richards/Melo/Bridges/Miller. Also on defense due to his size/strength he's not a complete liability like all the other older Euro guards who came over late to the NBA.

OKC had his draft rights, so it was the only way for him to get into the NBA.

But he refused to come over the few years before this one because he wanted playing time/minutes it's not like it was make or break for OKC to move his rights to another team if he demanded. Just feels like he wasted more than half a season for nothing.

I really like this guy. He's right on the money, basketball is a beautiful game when it's played the right way.

Melo needs to become this guy's protege.

He's a great young talent right now, but he can grow so much as a leader and game manager.

He speaks like a future head coach, with contemplation and gravity. His composure is so impressive. Don't let the funny accent fool you. He speaks the same language on and off the court as Jokic. He seems his heart is big and true for the game. It's obviously purely a beautiful team sport for Micic.

I agree he can unlock LaMelo. Next deadline teams will be lining up offering 1st round picks for him.

To go from Batum stretch to this dude is quite the loop. What a recovery.

The team has needed a guy like this on the roster for years.

Talk about stark. Yikes.

Of all the players who have come off the bench in at least 30 games this season, Vasilije has the highest net rating (17.2). In comparison, Charlotte's previous backup guard rotation of Ish Smith (-14.8) and Nick Smith Jr. (-15.0) ranks close to the bottom in that category.

He may not always put up stats, but the team functions better with him on the court. Haven't had one of those players in a while.

He is a great assist man but man he missed shot after shot in the fourth quarter of that jazz game, almost shot us out of the game. Gonna have to make some shots. Still fun to watch and nice to have

Yeah, I actually thought he played worse than his box score looks. Some cringey shot attempts in the 4th quarter.

Still a breath of fresh air to have an actual PG though.

Gonna be very interesting to see what our guard rotation is going to look like when Melo gets back.

He's a magician with the ball. He's the PG version of Jokic. We get to witness him wreck second units in the NBA by tricking the defense every possession.

At this point he may be closer next to LaMelo who would play off ball.

He had a good start, but it's clear he's not a backup. He's nice to have as a 3rd pg on your roster. He's just shooting entirely too much as of late. He rarely passes to Miller. Good dude but he's not our backup pg of the future. We still need to find a quality backup pg this offseason.

The Brandon Miller Love Dome is a little unnecessary IMO

You're trolling with mentioning Brandon Miller every post at this point, right?

I get that, but there are other people on the team he can pass too. I think he's a more than capable backup PG. He's also still getting used to the NBA game.

He's fine on the team. I just don't think it's ideal for him to be the primary backup. He's a upgrade over what we had in the past, but it's still a must we improve at backup pg. I can see why he wasn't getting any burn on the Thunder. He controls the ball a lot. That also explains why he was the MVP in the Euroleague.
