Worked for a while but good guys did better holding the top-scoring team in the league 22 points below their average.

The biggest change other than IQ is communication.

No more iso. No more stupid crap from Ish, McGowens, Thor, Mensah, Maledon.

Kill the 2024 draft and we have something given LaMelo and Mark return to health.

I believe this looks more like a retool instead of a reboot. Hornets traded one fringe core player in PJ Washington.

Mitch is retiring cause he is trying to get away with highway robbery for that Hayward trade.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

People should lay off Cody Martin. Cliff keeps him with the starters because his defense is needed in the starting lineup. He did a great job on Haliburton this game denying him the ball and keeping him from getting in rhythm.

A Mann/Micic starting lineup isn't ideal defensively. I wonder why Cliff doesn't start Micic over Mann, but it's probably because Mann offers more shooting.

Silent but deadly all these years.

The cap space and draft capital is the cherry on top of the culture reset.

Moving Terry. Moving Gordon. PJ.

Picked 3 correct targets.

Addition by subtraction. Terry iso ball was toxic.

Mann’s defense is actually better than I thought it’d be. His athletic ability allows him to stay in front quite well, he rotates, he jumps above the trees for rebounds. I know this is said of a lot of young guys but he really is scratching the surface, I’m not sure he realizes just how good he can be.

It’s legitimately jarring watching this team play now. I don’t think I even appreciated the absurdity of how dumb and untalented our team was. I was too used to brain dead Terry and Ish ball

Cody has his supporters on here, including me, he's not a scorer but he does a lot of the little team stuff that no one wants to.

Yeah Cody is far from the problem. Not his fault Cliff is playing him out of position.

Curry do your dance!!!

Tre Mann reminds me a lot of when we first got Jeremy Lamb from OKC. Lamb gave us quality bench mins for 3 years before becoming a starter in his final season.

Loving Grant, but man we need some size on the inside still. Mitch go sign Nerlens Noel, Dwayne Dedmon, anyone over 6-9 really.

Vasa didn’t play as well tonight, but I still liked his pace and he had a few dimes.

Clutch buckets by our 2 studs late in Miller and Miles still. Feels like they are still figuring out when to pick spots again with new guys rolling.

No, but you can't deny if we add a healthy Melo and Mark we can take a major jump next year especially if you add that top 5 pick. We are on the come up if we hire the right HC.

Evidently Clint Dempsey is a Charlotte fan and lives in the area.

That’s awesome. I know Andy Roddick comes to games too. 2009 me would be overjoyed.

Miles Bridges is an absolute force when the floor is spaced.

amazing what
1) adding some actual vets does to a young team
2) adding fresh competition does to players who were getting complacent

i mean, anyone who thought cody was the probem lol... was not really paying attention. when cody is your 5th option, can focus on defense and used sparingly as on ball creator, then he's great. cody as your point guard and 3rd option, yeah thats not gonna work for any team.

i think having grant and other new vets pushing miles is fantastic. miles played with more energy, force and purpose than we've seen all year
