Normally I am like "take all those quotes and put em in one big ole 'on blast' post" but stoo deserves all the and1s by splitting it up.

He's absolutely limited athletically, he has all the mental tools to be a top defender in the league. I think Jokic is slightly above average
Mental tools cannot
1. Make you react quickly in instances that help you deflect the ball or intercept passes
2. Give you the ability to jump higher to bother more or actually block shots.
3 can’t make you go faster to chase and block breakaway layups.
Like what the other said, Jokic has a case for ATG with his impact on offense even though he can’t shoot like Steph, or leap over defenders like MJ etc but defense? Yes is not a bad defender but above average? Hmm I still don’t think so.. for now

The Denver starting lineup when they are humming is absolutely beautiful basketball. Unselfish, engaged, each guy trusting the other to do the right thing.
I love watching this Nuggets squad play.

I can assure you Jarred Vanderbilt and Christian Wood aren’t the answer. Vando got played off the floor and I am cracking up imagining Wood trying to guard Jokic.

Wood was so bad the Mavs benched them last season when they really didn't have any good bigs. He can score 16 a game if you play him enough, but he'll give up double that on defense.

Getting swept b2b years by the same team (and swept in the RS in between) is embarrassing as hell.

If Lakers protect home court they will win this series
Spencer Dinwiddie average 17PPG in the 2023 season.
He needs to start scoring and give up this Defender role with the Lakers, if they really want to win
