Denver has the best player in the league and they have surrounded him with a starting lineup that is absolutely perfectly complimentary - and the result is a 5 man squad that is far, far more than the sum of its parts. The Denver starting lineup when they are humming is absolutely beautiful basketball. Unselfish, engaged, each guy trusting the other to do the right thing.

I love watching this Nuggets squad play.

Like what the other said, Jokic has a case for ATG with his impact on offense even though he can’t shoot like Steph, or leap over defenders like MJ etc but defense? Yes is not a bad defender but above average? Hmm I still don’t think so.. for now

I actually think that reaction speed is mental. Jokic has really good hands, he's kinda like a bigger Karl Malone. He has great positioning, is a pretty good post defender, plays passing lanes well, and often plays linebacker by directing teammates on defense. He just can't block shots well.

Yes they have the best starting 5 of the league, but man, I hate their bench with a passion... Nuggets FO did a really awful job.

lebrick with another "clutch" performance of the repertoire, it's a shame for him and the LA freeethrowtakers there is the best closer in the game on the other team. that final shot of jamallo is a lot of things,a lot of things....

Yeah he’s one of those guys who is better in theory than reality always has been. Tbf to him he had knee surgery and before that was getting decent minutes so it’s not like the Lakers weren’t playing him. But yeah you’re gonna throw a guy coming off knee surgery straight into the fire vs Jokic? Ha…

Although saying that, they desperately need someone who can get a rebound and apparently Wood was +7 in one of their regular season games

Can't blame Lakers tbh. Denver is the best team in the league by a wide mile when it matters. Lakers doing a good job so far but the outcome will not change. Jokic is the superior player and Nuggets is the superior team. The only adjustment Lakers can make is to make Lebron the ultimate closer and make him score a lot. Time to time he loses his killer mentality and it hurts a lot. Things will be interesting if Lakers can get the third game. It is just like bad luck/karma at this point and they are dominated and bullied by the Nuggets for effing 10 games. If they can win one, they will flip the mental edge coin. Come on Lebron and AD, you should do better mental wise.

Spencer Dinwiddie average 17PPG in the 2023 season.
He needs to start scoring and give up this Defender role with the Lakers, if they really want to win

He doesn't have a defender role with LA. They just want ANYTHING from him. The guy commits a foul when he comes into every game, first possession, without fail. LA doesn't think he is a good defender or ask him to be one. He's just a filler because they have no one else
