The reckless and intentional foul from Embiid is a big disappointment. He shot the lights out. He didn't need to injure others but he had to play dirty to match up to the physicality of the Knicks centers. He also kicked both Hartenstein and Robinson in the groin. He kept screaming and pointing at the refs for the whole game and still didn't get ejected is ridiculous. I can't root for this type of behavior. If the league don't suspend him, he is going to hurt another player with his 7ft 280 lb body frame in game 4.

When he injured Mitch the Knicks were up and Mitch was playing him as well as anyone. I think he felt he had to do it. It's still dirty as hell, but I think he knew exactly what he was doing.

The way that game was officiated, the refs are asking for trouble in Game 4 imo. I would expect some hard fouls against Embiid, maybe even a hip check thrown his way

The league doesn't want that. While they're protecting Embiid, I'm guessing they'll have private conversations with Philly to ask him to tone it down.

and like in baseball, the retaliation will probably be called harder. NY is in a tough spot, because if they retaliate, they could lose a player by suspension. The league gave a game to philly, maybe the series and they don't care. But they do care about retaliation and won't stand for it.

BUT its definitely a bitch move to intentionally injure dudes legs when they are landing and try to play it off like you weren't trying to.

I don't understand how people defend Embiid. He has a long long history of injuring guys, of egregious flopping and of acting like a spoiled brat. I can't think of any athlete with superstar skills who constantly behaves like such an entitled b*tch. Yeah this series could still go either way because they are both very talented teams...but I still feel good about closing this out. It took a lot for the 6ers to just get this one win without us scraping our way back into it. If we take game 4 on Sunday, this thing isn't getting back to philly.

He does. He purposely tried to injure both Hartstein and Robinson. In one series vs Sixers Embiid managed to injure all 3 players Raptors used to guard him. 2 of them went out of the game. One for the whole playoffs.
