To be expected. The poll has still come out as expected. I'm reassured I chose the right 9 guys, given how low the 'other' vote is.

Anyone rethinking their Jokic vote?

Terrible take. Duncan and Shaq's careers overlapped, and Duncan was the better player. Of the 5 playoffs they matched up in, Duncan was superior for at least 3 and 04 was very close either way.

Well poll didn't have Bryant in it so most people didn't bother because op had agenda.

Over 1000 votes suggests alot of people bothered. There's also an 'other' option for Kobe. Not too many people voted for that, maybe you're the minority.

Not only is the 'other' vote among the lowest, but posters have indicated they've used it to vote for Wade, Dirk, Kawhi, and others. Every poll of Kobe vs Jokic or Curry sees Kobe lose by an embarrassing amount, and clearly he wouldn't win a poll vs Lebron, Shaq or Duncan. Kobe was never going to be a Top 5 choice in this poll.

Well KG has 28 votes right now, and 'Other' has only 35, so I'm not even sure Kobe would beat KG. I know KG is the more impactful player, so listing him over Kobe was pretty easy.

There is no way Luka deserves a top 5 spot over Duncan.

I didn't pick Jokic because of longevity but you should not seriously re-evaluate a player based on a single playoff series lol

The poll is trash without Kobe as an option. Excluding Kobe invalidates the results.

People who want to vote for Kobe can use the 'other' option. Currently 'other' has only 37 votes, while the top 5 have between 164 and 202 votes. Clearly Kobe had no chance at beating the top 5 guys.

I had more than 5 other guys I'd have listed over Kobe, including Dirk, CP3, SGA, Nash, Wade, K.Malone, and D.Rob. Depending on how I feel about their longevity I'd consider Embiid & Kawhi too, who certainly peaked higher. Based on this playoffs I'd also take Ant if he keeps it up. I'd have considered Harden over Kobe.

Kobe's exclusion is not controversial. On the stats these 9 guys kill him, and they demonstrably impacted winning more than him. Voters seem to agree.
