KAT could be the greatest stretch 4 in the league if he got his head screwed on straight. A career .40 3PT% shooter, seven feet tall and mobile. Instead he wants to cosplay as KD, screwing up possessions with high difficulty shots he has no chance of making. Totally undisciplined hands on defense too.

Funny how much more valuable he would be just standing in the corner on offense.

He's a #1 draft pick. He should be looking like 2020 Bubble Anthony Davis(which happened against Jokic 8 years after he was drafted with another former DPOY next to him).

He should be the best player in this series if we just go off pedigree and experience.

He's soft. Denver switches Murray or Reggie Jackson onto him without any worry

His development has been weird to watch. He came into the league as a defender who was raw offensively. Turns out that he was pretty bad defensively and was much better than advertised on offense

Discipline is the right word. It's his achilles heel. Until he learns to play disciplined on offense and defense, he'll always be a chaotic player, inconsitent game to game and even quarter to quarter.

He's been a lot more disciplined this year and had some incredible stretches. He still reverts from time to time and even at his best he'll mix in some questionable possessions.

His shooting is juiced though. Forget the corner, you can station Towns at the top (or anywhere else) and he's paralyzing for the defense. The best shot in our offense is creating an open 3 at the top for Kat.

That’s like saying if Jokic had a 40 inch vertical he would be the best player ever.

Just from a psychological standpoint, he hasn't seemed to be able to get the right approach for a big game. He is either too passive and apathetic, or like way too excited to the point where he is way overdoing it and trying too hard. You'd think Mike Conley would have a positive effect on him in this regard because Conley has the perfect playoff demeanor imo.

Too much foul hunting and crying. He puts it in his head that he's going to draw fouls and not make shots. The refs are probably laughing at him.

You’re talking about KAT? That he should be the best player in a series with Jokic and Edwards and should be playing like title run AD? Why? Cause he’s tall and can shoot?

He isn’t the second option that is gonna get Ant over the hump. Phenomenal skill set but he’s a mental midget come playoff time.
