Al Jefferson Requests Trade; Nuggets and Bulls Interested

Al Jefferson of the Minnesota Timberwolves has requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves tried to move Al leading up to the NBA Draft. Two teams that have shown serious interest include the Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls.

I think the Nuggets may be a more realistic option. I suspect the Bulls will get a PF in Free Agency.

Not sure what free agent is going to go to Minnesota, with the odds already unfairly stacked against them (Minnesota isn't as terrible as some people make it out to be) why would a quality FA commit to going to a team with so much uncertainty?

Is Jefferson in or out?
Is Rubio ever coming over?
Is Darko Milicic really going to get more than 10 mpg?

Just too many questions...

This could be great for the Bulls if we land LeBron and Bosh goes to Miami...

Al is around the talent level of Amare and better than Boozer and Lee IMO...

I think the Nuggets can pull this off. Kenyon Martin for Al Jefferson and Ryan Hollins. Then Minny waives K-Mart and his 85% covered contract so he can re-sign with Denver.

Jefferson has been a certified disaster in Minny and the problem was compounded by them drafting another PF right after they traded for him. It's no surprise he wants out when the team has been so openly shopping him.

I don't expect them to get much in return when he's inevitably dealt.

Maybe the Bulls can throw Deng and some draft picks at the Wolves for Al. He is a beast at the 4 and still young.
