If that's a foul then game 5 in Chicago needs to be replayed first.

Why not? they won tonight with basically everything going against them....what's not to say they can have a good game in Miami be it game 6 or 7....That is a two way street imo

Because I don't believe Miami would have this type of let down in a game 6 or 7... Those are pivotal games. Even after this game, I don't really believe if the Heat were up like this in Dallas they would let would have a similar let down.

Again, they'll probably learn not to Celebrate, and not to take their foot off the pedal. Which was exactly what they did.

They will learn huh? They have been doing that ALL SEASON......you know what they say Fools rush in where angels fear to tread....Then again it is the Finals so maybe they will learn but we can only assume things like that at best...

i think the post game show on ESPN is really overestimating this entire "heat are going to have trouble getting over it" angle.

Just like to add....this is why I love JVG as an analyst. He paused for a bit to contemplate his comment, then proceeded on...

"I wish there wasn't a double-standard" - in reference to Wade crying like a child and throwing a tantrum yet not getting T'd up, while Carlisle makes a comment about an elbow that James threw on Dirk gets one.

For those predicting Dallas wins 2 of the next 3, is this based on the amazing performance Dallas put on the last 2 games? You know...being outplayed both games and essentially relying on a Miami collapse. I'll give credit to Dallas' defense for getting staunch at the end, but you don't score that many points in 5 minutes without some epic letdown on defense.

The ESPN crew sounds like this is the first Heat series they've seen this entire season. Barry talking about we can't recover from this loss. I think he said the same thing after Game1 against Chicago. I want to know what happens when our defense doesn't collapse the rest of this series. I think another rude awakening is incoming. PEACE.

Wade's left eye is fine you guys. He just put on his patented "Wade Band Aid" and it's all good!

This. I think Dallas wins a blowout in Game 3, Miami comes back and steals Game 4, Dallas takes Game 5, then closes Miami out in 6.

So did the Mavs win? Or did Miami lose?

A few things struck me about this game:

We had the board advantage.
We had the bench advantage.
Marion played like he was possessed.
The Heat bench was a non-factor.

Even if LBJ and Wade get 60-65 pts, I am still confident we can win.

Let's be honest you were gift wrapped this game by LeBron James and his infamous hero ball.

yeah right after miami was almost gift wrapped this series by f'ing best shooter in the nba dirk nowitzki deciding he forgot how to shoot. Please

Oh please. Dirk isn't even in the position to do what he did if Miami doesn't settle for 6-7 deep contested triples in 5 minutes. They weren't even TRYING to get to the basket. They thought this game was over and played like it.

I refuse to credit Dallas for winning this game more than Miami lost it. They will win the series though, and I'll give them the overall credit then.

They've been doing this all year. Hell didn't they choke a 26 point lead against Orlando at home during the season.

The same way Maimi got an 18pt lead is the same way Dallas came back from 18 down. This is the NBA, and teams make runs both ways. It was Miami who got the best at the start of the 4th, but Dallas got the best at the end of the 4th.

Agree, they've pretty much outplayed the Mavs for 7 quarters. They just had a bad last 6 1/2 minutes in Game 2. I can see Wade or LeBron playing really well for 1 of those 3 games.
