How can you not cheer for Lin? Not like the raptors are going anywhere.

I'll cheer for Lin as long as it's not against my own team. Some of us are still loyal fans.

I keep forgetting the Raptor Tank is in full effect.

+1. The Raptors need the # 1 or # 2 pick in the 2012 draft; along with that pick, Bargnani and Jonas Valanciunas, we should be decent next season (maybe playoffs)

The top five visible minority groups in Toronto were:

Chinese at 283,075 or 11.4 per cent;
Black at 208,555 or 8.4 per cent;
Filipino at 102,555 or 4.1 per cent;

and these stats are from 2006, gone up since

The sad part is that the Raptors have actually been playing pretty good recently and were a couple of bad possessions away from a 3 game win streak. Not like we need the wins.

Toronto is one of (if not THE) most multicultural cities in the world. I like how Americans think Canada is 100% white. Toronto has more non-whites than whites and actually embraces it instead of, you know, trying to get rid of them like certain the most racist state in the US.

I'm Canadian and I find a lot of ignorant Americans from Arizona, Wisconsin, Missouri and the Mid West in general. They stick out like a sore thumb, in terms of ignorance and being openly racist.

Thank goodness I'm from Toronto and not a place like Phoenix, Arizona. I would not want to be a South Asian / Indian guy there; they would call me 'Apu' or ask me stupid questions about camels, snakes and life in the jungle :-?

Toronto and New York are actually quite similar culturally...and somewhat close geographically
