I'm almost positive that the salary cap won't allow for them to add Paul if the add Carmelo.

This 24-7 "which big market will Superstar X move to" crap is killing my interest in the NBA.

How about they get Carmelo first before focusing on Paul before they screw it up like the Lebron ordeal. :rofl:

i feel the same way. basketball was my first love but the NFL holds my interest nowadays. and you can say sour grapes, i would be more interested if i was a celtics or heat fan but the texans isn't exactly superbowl favorites.

What for? he was born there (though he mostly lived in Baltimore). No reason to move them and they would probably be object

They're locked into 6th Place at the moment, 3 Games ahead of the 76'ers. :thumbsup:

and when this plan falls through, it'll be NY focus on signing Kevin Durant when his contract is up.

:lol: Sooooo true.

Part of it is the crappy Media looking to drum-up stories, and part of it is the impatience of some of the fanbase.

All the major markets will at some point be linked to the big names from now until 2014. :lol:

I guess, but considering they had it locked and a team that started 3-13 is on their tail, I'm not sure this excites me if im CP3 or Carmelo. So, like I originally said, I think the Knicks should make the playoffs first. Don't you agree sir?

Your very own 76'ers were off to a bad start and have turned things around. Same as NY.

Unlike your Team however, NY just underwent a MAJOR Roster overhaul and transformation. Teams take time to both gel and build chemistry. Also, Mike's System wears people down by mid-Season due to the Pace and the short Rotation (Suns fans can attest to this).

So no. No, I do not agree.

=========================================

-- On the topic of CP3 and/or Melo, and a a 2012 Big 3...like I said in my prior posts: Part of it is the crappy Media looking to drum crap up to sell papers and get traffic.

-- Is there legs for a Melo to NY, at this point it definitely seems so. Is there legs to a Paul to NY (or Deron to NY)? Very UNlikely, but you never know.

-- Depending on what assets may be left in any potential DEN-NY deal, NY would find it VERY VERY hard to trade for any big name in 2012 (they'd likely have to move Felton+either Gallo or Fields and that's just the base of some cockamamie media drummed-up deal).

So a new coach, 3 new starters, and a lottery pick isn't a roster overhaul? I'm just glad you are aware as a Knicks fan that we are on your tail.
