Seems pretty simple to me. If Dwight is gonna leave eventually, and Orlando can get Bynum, you just do it and get this over with. In today's NBA, Andrew is the next best thing to Dwight in the middle, is he not? Even those who don't agree that he's the 2nd best center would have to agree that he's a top 4. And if he is being made available, you take that offer.

I'm a Mavs fan, and not a fan at all of the Lakers, but this makes the most sense for Orlando. Just do it already, and put an end to this crap.

F it, if they take Blake, I'll gladly take Hedo too :D

At least Hedo got a little game in him. Blake offers nothing.

Dwight isn't giving up money. If he was willing to he'd not have opted in. He opted in to stop the Magic from trading him to a team other than the Nets. Now he's back to crying and pouting. Call his bluff! He'll re-sign with whatever team has him on the roster. That's why the Warriors want him. They know they're not "renting" him cause he'll give in come contract time.

You're not going to get a better offer Orlando. Does anybody really think Dwight Howard is going to leave money on the table next year? No way he doesn't sign as a Laker when they offer him a contract.

If it was all about the money he would just stay in Orlando. He's willing to walk out in free agency next year.

I'm glad you've been following me around the boards. As flattering as that it I'm going to have to ask you to stop.

Well it is not like Brooklyn was a winning situation when he first expressed his desire to be there.

He wants the bright lights, fame and most important the money.

And I am not following you around. You just happen to post on every page of most threads regarding DWill , Deron and so on and it is always the same.

Just look at the latest reports. Your "opinions" are always in favor of the Nets and attack every one who says something different.

In this case you were just wrong.

Probably end up Howard/Richardson for Bynum/Artest.

Clearly this was always going to be their plan but will LA step up to the plate and do it. With little competition out there LA really doesn't have the motivation to offer Bynum.

Let's say LA trades Bynum. Dwight goes to LA Bynum to Orlando. Next year Bynum pulls same crap as Howard cause Orlando has nothing else and he tests the FA market.

Orlando only has themselves to blame.

I'm all over that like a bad rash. Sure, we'll need to acquire a SF, but J-Rich can be our 6th man off the bench.

Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
@O_Magic11: Bynum was already taken care of. This is an easy deal to make.

Jarrod N Rudolph ‏@JRudolphSports
@O_Magic11: Bynum would LOVE to come to Orlando. He's ready to be out of LA.

As we've been trying to tell all of you all year, Bynum doesn't care where he plays as long as he gets his money. Orlando will have his bird rights and will have the most money to offer him, he'll stay in Orlando if traded.

it was just reported that Bynum would love nothing more than being the man in Orlando and it has been known for quite a while that he would be happy there.

Noone remembers his quote that there are Banks everywhere?

The problem with Bynum is his health and his attitude. But you can be sure that he will sign with the team that gives him the biggest paycheck.

Brooklyn had Deron Williams. It is an obvious winning situation for Dwight. Those two will make an elite team.

If he just wanted all that he would want to go to the Lakers too.

I do post on most thread concerning Dwight and Deron because I am a Nets fan and I enjoy discussing the Nets. How do you not get that?

I never attack anyone. Thats complete BS. I express my opinions.

I happen to think that trading for Dwight without an extension is a dumb move. How is that not objective?

If you want to see my opinions that aren't in favor of the Nets read what I said about the Joe Johnson trade. Or the Gerald Wallace trade.

Calm down. Nothing has happened yet.

The Nets have gotten close to getting Dwight Howard a million times. We even "acquired" him at the deadline.

Lets wait till Lakers.com says "Lakers have acquired Dwight Howard".

Look, Lakers are willing to do the deal even if Howard doesn't resign because they could just easily do the deal with NETS after/during the season via trade or s&t. Orlando doesn't want to do the deal with the Nets...that doesn't mean that Lakers wouldn't do it!

The Magic doesn't want to send him to his team of choice. But the Lakers are not emotionally or sentimentally involved with Dwight like that! Mitch aint like that!

I say Mitch does the deal and hope Dwight signs. But if he doesnt, trade him to the Nets. The Nets were willing to give a team in the same conference its 1st born...why not a team that is NOT in its conference, huh?

Perhaps it's time Jerry Buss intercedes.

Then they end up with Brook Lopez instead of Bynum so they can rent Dwight Howard for a year.

Not the best idea...

That's basically trading Bynum for Brook Lopez.

Please edit your post and take that out immediately.
