Lakers in 5. Two blowouts in LA, Utah gets a close win, and then gets crushed in games 4 and 5.

This is by far the best match-up for LA out of the remaining teams. Utah is banged up to begin with. Boozer plays terrible against size, thankfully for him the lakers don't have any size, oh wait. Finally, Utah is a terrible road team.

I still think neither of these teams are going to win a title, and are lucky to be in the West.

Nice avatar... I wonder if LeBron entered the dunk contest if he would pull try and perform that. He would probably get a 10.

Anyways, Lakers in 5 or 6. I believe they will play better in the 2nd round. :)

Lakers in 4. Yepp I said it. I think the Lakers have what it takes to sweep the Jazz. Bynum bounces back from his "injury" and proves to be too much for the Jazz. Kobe is going to look to score this series and Lamar Odom will finally show up because for whatever reason he just plays big against the Jazz.

I have been very happy with the level of playoff basketball so far. The Jazz/Laker match up should prove to be no different.

Lakers in 6. Deron will go off but the length of Bynum and Gasol will bother Boozer and Millsap again. Someone else will really have to step up for the Jazz to upset the Lakers.

The good news for jazz are:
We miss Okur but we gain two 7 foot who doesn't care about giving fouls.

We have something last year we didn't. We have a shooting guard who actually can shoot 3. And we have a 3 who actually can shoot 3s.
Wesley Matthews and CJ Miles.
Plus Korver and Deron.
Ak should play 4 as he has done in some parts of the season. He could do a fine job in Odom or Gasol.

Deron, Boozer, Millsap, CJ and Matthews are stepping up in playoffs.

Jazz desparately need a 100% functional AK to stand any chance. Even then, it's long odds. Fes looked pretty bad against Denver. It'll only be worse against LA. And Koufos has looked terrible all year. Jazz really feeling the bite of a short bench now.

Get ready for a load of 20 foot jumpshots by Boozer. Hopefully he never misses.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

This will be an interesting series. I think Lakers will win it. Boozer and Millsap won't have easy baskets like against the Nuggets. Man, in game 6 only, I see Boozer and Millsap have a whole bunch of wide open dunks.. that won't happen against Lakers.

The Lakers size will be too much for Utah, especially without Okur.

unfortunatelly :(

what is the story of that" utah fans for carmelo" thing anyway? did some group really spend money to put those on tv? was it a joke? i mean, they played in california during national games....wtf?!?

For some reason I think Fes is going to operate pretty well against the Laker offense. AK is coming back off the bench and the Matthews/Miles combo is working out very well so far. But I would be a fool to put it past the Lakers and say they won't cause trouble for the Jazz. Odom and Kobe will be our biggest threat. And we have yet to find an answer for Odom.

And the reason you feel Fesenko will operate well against the Laker front line, when Sloan couldn't even stand the sight of him on the floor last night vs. Anderson and Martin and Petro?

Fesenko and Koufus are absolutely awful. The first three minutes of Sunday's game will be Fesenko's coming out party, as in coming out of the game.

Fasenko was huge against the Nuggets. Lakers don't expect much from him so it will be interesting to see what the youngster can do.

Fesenko just played bad yesterday. Was his worst game of the series.
