How are you a forum mod? Ever since the start of the playoffs you've been talking nothing but sh*t about the Celtics. Even trolling in the game thread against the Knicks until I called you out. Now you're back at it again.

I agree that Wade isn't dirty, but he obviously intended to bring Rondo down with him on that play. Showing a screen shot of the play means jack. Also, a screen shot of KG holding someone is now dirty? That happens every play down the court. You're really reaching on that one buddy.

Yeah.... when you're watching Kevin **** Garnett.

I'm sorry, but setting illegal screens/elbowing/holding a player's arm back does not happen every play down the court in basketball. It's only allowed most of the time with KG and a few other select bigs. You're just used to seeing it because you're now used to watching Kevin Garnett.

Not a fan of either team but Wade clearly pulled Rondo down. Not saying that he purposely injured Rondo or anything but you can see Wades arm flex and litterally pull Rondo away from the direction of the ball.

Good decision by the ref to call a foul and leave it at that. Nothing malicious in it.

Um, what do you all expect? For Heat fans to keep their mouth shut all the time? We let the bashing continue on constantly because we already expect nothing to change, people already have their own scripted, unoriginal opinions about our star players in our team, and have already accepted nothing will change because of jealousy. But when you call someone like Wade a "dirty player", a "douche" and many things like that, that's just taking it way too far and most fans who've been around Wade his entire career will take offense to it. Wade has NEVER been that type of player, he's been all heart in Miami and the community, very much like Zo which is why I'm not even worried about this series even after how **** we played yesterday. He has never felt the need to take a player out through injury even though many times various players around the league have tried to do that to him out of frustration. He always let his skills do the talking. Healthy Rondo or not Wade can will his team to two more victories.

LMFAO DWYANE WADE A DIRTY PLAYER .DAMN THE AMOUNT OF HATE PEOPLE HAVE , wonder what people will say if the Miami Heat win a title

Also if anything Rajon Rondo was told by Paul Pierce to go to the locker room and come back in 5 minutes to play.Since Paul Pierce is a master at making injuries look more severe than they really are.

I can't stand the Boston Celtics and how everyone calls KG a defender he by far is a wannabe thug and same goes for Paul Pierce. I just wish we beat this wack ass team and anyone would trade Rajon Rondo , for Dwyane Wade in a heartbeat so I rest my case.

Lol you obviously know nothing about basketball, you're not allowed to hold someone when setting a screen as its illegal, KG gets away with it most of the time, he IS a dirty player.

Wade is not a dirty player, but he was last night. Dude injured Rondo for no reason, and then bumped ray allen for no reason.

Miami won't win this series unless they play "dirty" as well. The refs set the tone and each team has to play within those parameters or risk losing. The best chance the Heat have of winning in Boston is to turn the game into a dogfight and not back back down. I doubt they have what it takes to do that, unfortunately for them.

Nice win boston.
But without a follow up win at home, would be pretty useless.

It was just a playoff basketball scrum, Wade didn't intend to dislocate Rondos elbow. Rondo is also nuts and insane, just incredible to come back and play well defensively like he did.

I can't believe I am siding with Miami fans, but:

Image

That's a picture of Rajon Rondo punching Brad Miller in the face.

Image

That's Rondo grabbing Hinrich by the elbow and throwing him into the scorer's table.

And for good measure:

Seriously, Boston fans aren't accusing other teams of playing dirty are they?

Almost every good playoff team plays somewhat dirty. Rondo just fell awkwardly from the play. Wade didn't mean to injure him directly, just take him down competitively.

You're right I've only played for 14 years, represented my city and state and coached for 4 years. Of course, I know nothing. There a small holds every play and you could take a screen shot of miami doing the exact same thing. Watching that play live, Wade didn't even try to get over/under the screen.

Seems like people are defending their favorite players not by actually defending them, but by attacking others. That doesn't actually defend your players, by the way. The point remains the same no matter how many times you try to shift the focus to someone else.

It just means that they are BOTH playing dirty.

Apparently, Boston fans aren't allowed to use certain words because they apply to players on the team. That makes a lot of sense.
