I mean, with the Celtics it was obvious that'd be a very late frp anyway, so a 25-30th pick, realitically

did Pop and the GM really didn't know he's this good?
kinda bizarre imo, they basically gave him away for a 30th pick

If they kept White, they were still fighting for play-in spots and no Wemby. The ends justifies the means.

If somebody for Boston gets hurt on Wednesday, they have nobody to blame but themselves.

So easy for Boston. As long as they don't lose focus, all these East series should be short and ends in 5 or 6 games.

that's true, GM's are so dumb..imagine a team like PHX this seaon with White at PG. all it would have cost them was a late 1st :P

imagine the Nuggets giving up a late first for White, hot damn :)

Miami nailed Jovic and Jacques picks honestly. Got two rotation guys in the teens

If it's any consolation, the Spurs didn't want to trade White. They just realized they didn't have a good enough team to utilize their skills. I mean old LaMarcus Aldridge, Demar Derozan and DeJounte Murray. That team was going nowhere.

Are still they using this slogan in Miami?

Yeah but Danny Ainge left a pair of the holy undergarments in his office and those teams don't have them. Thats why Brad can make these deals, he puts them on before he makes his calls.

One of the under discussed things for Miami's development is that they have been nailing their low lotto/mid-round picks lately.

Adebayo, Herro, Jovic and Jaquez. When they actually hold onto their picks, they tend to do well with them.

I really hate the Tatum and 4 limited offensive player lineup. At least put in white over Jrue for offensive purposes.

Horford looks a step slow out there

Jayson Tatum really overrated. With the amount of attention he get, he should just be destroying their defense. I couldn’t even imagine an all-time great wing in their prime being guarded like an after thought.

both are very interesting players, "rotation guys" is kinda not doing them justice. they are already rotation guys, Jaques as a rookie and Jovic as a 20 year old sophomore

I think Jovic can be a real difference maker down the line I would say his floor is a decent 5th starter on a good team and his ceiling is probably like a good #3

I don't know if it's just his role, lack of confidence or what but he seems to basically have zero offensive game (apart from spacing the floor) but he's got size, speed he's even mildly athletic. imagine if he actually developed some offensive game in the mould of guys like Franz Wagner or Deni Avdija, he could be a really nice piece because he is already a very good defender (despite lack of bulk and still learning the NBA game etc.) - if he develops his offense and i'm sure he will - he will be a legit 2 way player that'll shine in all kind of impact metrics

I like him a lot, he understands the game better than most he just doesn't have the tools or the confidence to translate that to winning plays consistently. tools can be developed :)

Seems this series is either a Boston blowout or a Miami upset.
