It’s the hamstring from last year. It’s totally over. He probably won’t even have a healthy summer now… just brutal.

Zion Williamson: zero career playoff games.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Zion walked off easily and didn’t even limp, but the way he was mad seemed like he already knew exactly what it was. Hopefully it’s not serious, but if it’s something that makes him miss even 1 game, that’s it for our season.

I’m thinking he felt the same pain he felt for the hammy that he did last year. It might not be the same injury, but it would explain his visible anger despite being able to move on it.

He immediately knew something was wrong too, just no hesitation in asking out of the game. Don't know what it is yet but "soreness" doesn't fit the bill.

It's a shame because he is going to get fat again as he recovers from this injury.

And that's why the Play in is stupid... the Pels deserved to play in the PO now one stupid random game against two hall of famers and they got beaten AND he got injured for the next play in game... wow what a stupid format this is.

If they made the playoffs and Zion gets hurt in the first game, OKC or Denver sweeps them.

obviously but their fate (even if it is getting swept without their best player) should be decided over course of a regular season and not a single game.

Silver doesn’t care if players get hurt in these dumb extra games he adds. All he cares about is the league making more money. Guy STINKS and no one should defend him.

Zion doesn't even sign up for the 82 game season, let alone playing in the playoffs.

He played 70 games this year and was visibly upset he got hurt. Nuggets fans are getting really annoying.

You're crying about an injury prone guy getting hurt in a play-in game. It'd be no different if this was the first game of the first round. What exactly is your point? Was Zion somehow overworked by having to play his 71st game of the season?

people were originally speculating that the play-in was initially introduced so that Zion could make it to the playoffs. and now he's potentially out of the playoffs because of it. quite ironic.

on another note, how does one maintain or improve hamstring health? never had issues with them but it seems like one of the worst lower body injuries to have.

The way Zion plays with his explosive moves, he needs those muscles. Can't imagine him getting 37 inches off the ground and landing without an issue in these high intense games. Even if it's only a strain, without letting it heal for a week or so, who's to say he wouldn't just tear it completely? And if that were to happen, he would be out for months missing valuable conditioning and skills development time. I am hoping for the best. Yesterday was what we all were waiting for from him.
