... and in his opening post he had heard from a Co-worker that Charlie V. sold out one of his boys or something randomly... and that he had to go back to work, but he'll post more after he got more information... and that he worked at Abercrombie.

Then we all made jokes about him just slipping it in about him working at Abercrombie.

Then he comes back on later trying to sway convo back to Charlie V but it does work... then saying that he is a model working for Abercrombie, and yo yo we get recruited and stuff... and damn we get VIP guest list... and working at Ambercrombie opens up alot of doors and everyones models

Then we started ragging on him for claiming he is a model cuz he works for Abercrombie.

Then he starts posting pics of random Abercrombie girls from coupons to show us.....

The we start posting pics of random Wal-mart girls (in relation to compare).....

Then the legendary Messiah post

We moved here when I was 11 so I never got to follow that through
To you Abercrombie is a store.. opening up at Eatons and Sherway
To me Abercrombie is a life style.

Then we had to chew up that post like no tomorrow

Then he tells us (especially "Poster Joker") that we dont understand, and that his parents were proud of him working there "dream-wise"....and that we'd all would be lucky to get to ever work there.

Then Joker says... "yes folding clothes, and yelling, Blow-out Sale!!... Everything must Go!!... will finally earn me the respect of my parents"

The Abercrombie thread was the best thread in the history of RealGM, IMO.

I feel lucky to have read it back in the day.

hard to tell for the knicks forum because we have 3-4 epic threads everyday.

The Raps fans, I believe Joker and a few others, are forever in my cool book after the beating they gave that guy.

The Mop Girl one on the Raptors board was funny for a while. Also, the Wizards board comes up with some good stuff occasionally. Can't put my mind to anything specific though.

Dude, that one wasn't funny. The Abercrombie thread and the various Smitch threads (including the Smitch Comics, the Smitch photoshop thread and the Draw the Smitch a Play thread) were hilarious, but that Hedo @ Metro thread was just embarrassing: a gathering of many of the worst posters who make the Raptors board look bad.

I can't remember if I was signed up by that time or still just lurking, but that thread was definitely one of the reasons I stuck around. It will be years before that thread gets beat.

I did kind of feel sorry for Messiah and the bashing he took on that thread, though I did participate in it by making a A&F slideshow with the American Dream song that Dusty Rhodes used to have back in the day in the WWF.

I remember how badly he wanted to save face because of that thread. Every thread he posted, even if it was a normal thread, was ridiculed for anything he wrote... even grammar.
