Yea... I doubt they do it though. The good thing though, is that the difference between 3rd and 4th is pretty much negligible this year. I don't think there's any way that Portland can drop below 4th is there?

speak for yourself Gobert matches up way better with a Curryless GSW than the 5 out Rockets

That Minny Denver game should be on ESPN or TNT. Come on, it isn't a Raptors game.

With the thunder in and them playing the Grizz, I see him chasing every rebound possible. Wouldnt be shocked at a stat line of 2/35 shooting, 3asts 25rebs. He will miss every layup on purpose to get his own rebs. Will be fun to see ha

I think Curry will be back by the second round though right?

I'd probably rather see the Rockets in the 2nd round anyways to be honest. I've seen enough of the Warriors to know that the matchup isn't going to go well. Rockets, while a better team than Portland. I think Portland can get a game or 2 if the guards get hot, or good Nurkic shows up. I think Portland has played the Rockets pretty well throughout the second half of the season. I can see them stealing 2 games possibly. Healthy Warriors, 4 or 5 game gentleman's sweep. Portland has no answers for that team in a series.

I don't trust Denver on the road, I'm not sure they'll give many playoff teams too many problems if they can't play away from home-court.

I don't trust iso Harden and that teams passing outside of those 2 main guys.
Jokic in the playoffs is a major positional advantage with his passing. And Hardens defensive weakness is still trailing cutters. I give Denver 2 games for sure. For more not sure but a ok series.

-Philly needs to lose one of their remaining last 2 games
-Cleveland needs to beat the Knicks at home

-Raptors need to beat the Heat in their final game

If all 4 happens, then it ensures the Raptors avoid Washington in the 1st rd and even bigger than that...they avoid Cavs in the 2nd rd

A lot needs to go our way. So its unlikely it happens

Lets hope the players arnt afraid like u....you want to win a championship and your plotting your 1st round opponent and then scared of the Cavs...w that mentality Tor has 0 chance

Well no **** sherlock. Ofcourse the players wont care and I hope they dont either.

But considering I'm a diehard raptor fan and with our history, I'm preparing for every scenario. Nothing wrong with trying to get the best scenario for the team you cheer for. Chill out

Nurk kept you guys in the game. Gotta hand it to him.

But he was tired in the 4th.

If the Pelicans lose tonight, they'd be on the outside looking in with Spurs in their final sched. Make it happen. :D

Really need LAC to make an awesome comeback and put NO out. I really feel like they're going to just get dominated in any series.

They do flex games. They did for the kobe finale a couple years ago. And then every year throughout the year, they take bad games off that were originally thought to be good, for better games once seen how the season has played out. Only reason they might not flex is because 76ers Bucks is a big game seeding wise in the east even though both have clinched. Wolves Nuggets is definitely bigger. Probably could be considered the biggest game of the season overall.

Denver really wont fair much better either. The team that can really put up some sort of a fight against either Rockets/Warriors is Minny. Especially with a Healthy Jimmy butler.

So, it would def suck if Denver beats Minny and makes it in as the 8th seed. Both NO and Den will be quick outs in the 1st. Strong possibilty of sweeps too

The Nuggets-Wolves is on the same time as Sixers-Bucks. I would flex the Sixers-Bucks. Seeding isn't as important as an NBA playoff play-in game. I mean we don't get them that often. Hopefully ESPN is smart enough to realize it.

ESPN has to replace Bucks-Sixers with Nuggets-Wolves. Pretty sure the Bucks will rest Giannis and probably Bledsoe/Middleton as well, it'll be completely unwatchable. Even more so if the Sixers rest some of their guys too.
