Is Kendrick Perkins the worst.....ever?

Honestly as a Heat fan, I have no problem with Perkins (Kendrick) taking 8 million and being a starter. I have no problem with Presti (Sam) trading an All-Star in Harden (James). Everything goes my way and I am sure this year OKC will have trouble getting past a few teams. Harden was BIG against the Spurs, let's see how far OKC gets this year.

I live in Toronto (huge fan of the V. Carter era). I love Kobe and the Lakers (West). But I took my passion to south beach and joined the Miami Heat. So yeah lol.

As far as Perkins goes If I were OKC I would literally think about starting Collins over him and giving Thabeet more mins. Perkins is just so useless out on the floor that it's just funny...

Imagine if the Thunder had Tiago Splitter in the middle. Better finisher, just as good of a passer, greatly improved foul shooter. The post D would weaken a bit but the pick and roll D would be pretty good.

Perk sucks. But OKC will need him when teams like Memphis (Gasol, Zbo) and Warriors (David Lee, Bogut) etc. face them in the playoffs

Perkins suffers from the Bruce Bowen effect. Strong defensively but so bad on offense he more than nullifies his defensive prowess. Only players with near legendary defensive prowess can pull this off - Ben Wallace, Dikembe Mutombo, etc. Perkins isn't a strong enough defender to justify his paltry offensive contributions.

haven't had the chance to keep up with him ever since he got traded to OKC. But I firmly believe if he was playing in game 7 finals vs the lakers in 2009, they win the Championship. He had size and girth and is a banger down low and it was idiotic for the C's to get rid of him at that time.

First of all, the Celtics lost to LA in 2010, not 2009 (Lakers-Magic).
Second of all, the Celtics didn't get rid of him until 2011; he played in the 2010 Finals but blew out his ACL in game 6.

Bruce Bowen could knock down corner threes, that and not turning the ball over makes him a Kevin Durant level efficient when compared to Perkins.
