Edwards is a stud. Minny deserves him.

He's a player I'd wait for 3-4 years in the NBA system before calling a bust.
I'm pretty sure the And-1s I got for this have only happened from bumps of this thread.

Well it's not a good look for Givony and Schmidt, I concur .

Has very little to do with a three game hot streak from deep. How about you watch the Wolves games before giving your opinion?bisme37 wrote:I love how there are 8 pages here full of people acting like they watch Timberwolves games.
Lots of in this thread, can't wait to quote them all at some point in the future when Ant becomes a star.
I'll get right on that. Can't wait to be quoted.

Shameful edit, just take the L like a man and learn to stop judging players like a month into their rookie seasons.

I am taking the L, he proved me wrong and that’s why I changed the title. Not taking the L would be sticking with my original opinion. Jesus man you guys take everything personally.

i mean wolves think these type of knuckleheads are so talented they will ignore intangibles like worth ethic.
Another guy thats hates basketball but do it as a living for 10million dollars. Another bust who will retire as soon as his rookie contract expires.
This guy is the ultimate troll.
Happy for Ant and the Wolves. D Wade athleticism with a jumper, damn. Sky’s the limit.

Happy for the Ant Man, what he’s done the last couple games in the play in and now game 1 has been marvelous.
He’s really taking advantage of those double teams KAT is getting, and credit to DLo last game for swinging it side to side and letting Ant feast.
Hope more people can see what a star he is on and off the court

Who has time for patience? We've already moved on to talking about Chet Holmgren being a bust.

Re: Ant-Man is it
Couple things:
1. When this was originally posted, Ant was playing highly inefficiently (like most rookies), but Ant would always be compared to LaMelo Ball, who started well. The timing here was bad, because Edwards really took off right after that post, with the arrival of Finch. He was averaging like 20-25 a game, and his efficiency was pretty good considering his usage (like Beal’s).
2. Ant never said he didn’t like basketball. When he talked about his youth, he said football WAS his favorite sport. However, he converted to basketball his last two years of high school.
3. Ant’s work ethic is something to be praised, not panned. There was a big article in the local paper last week, with the reporter traveling to Atlanta to talk to all the people that knew Ant growing up. The thing that kept being repeated was, “he does what he needs to do.” And I think we’ve seen this as a pro, which accounts for his big jump in efficiency and defense. Remember how far behind he came in, with his limited basketball background?

3-16 from the field, 0-8 from 3.

I think he comes up big next play in game. With Kat being hot, it should have opened up for Edwards this game though

Minnesota shouldn’t have played him through the injury, tonight. I think that was a mistake, even if I appreciate his effort.
