I think draft combine is important for things like measuring height, weight, agility, athleticism basically. But shooting? How many chances do they even get, or they literally just get 25 shots and that is it? I understand that such practice tests more than just shooting, but also dealing with pressure etc. but thats just it. All these draft prospects can shoot. Sometimes they will shoot 25 shots and hit 10, and other times they might hit 20. I would not really put real care on how much they hit, I think the more important thing is just to try assess how composed they look. If the guy is sweating bullets in that practice next to all the scouts, how will he look in a game with 25K crowd and knowledge ~150 countries stream his game live?

The team drafting Bronny will be doing it for the media attention and a Lebron lotto ticket. They'll have to consider whether what that's worth to them because that's all they will get from the pick.

I don't believe, based on anything we've seen in HS or NCAA, that Bronny will ever be a legitimate NBA player that is worth putting on the floor. Not trying to mock the kid, I wish him well, but he really doesn't have anything going for him aside from his last name. If he's really 6'1 that is brutal since he's never going to be a primary, or probably even secondary, ball handler.

I doubt NBA franchises really want to make an enemy of Rich Paul and Klutch, and especially not if LBJ actually owns the Vegas expansion team as is rumored. Because the kid won’t give you more upside than all of the guys mocked ahead of him. What’s the upside of drafting him, just to spite Bron? I don’t think most GMs are gonna go for that.

40" vert is elite. He didn't get his dad's height but he did get his athleticism. He just needs to get his game to match his athleticism.

Honestly, at 6'1.5", 210 lbs, 40" vert he has great NFL size, LeBron was probably the last generation of prospects kids who was allowed to pursue multiple sports growing up before specialization took hold. Would have been interesting to see how he'd have done at football like his old man did in HS.
