he's only hit 2 of them

That's nine too many.

GSW fans said they wouldn't include him in a deal for KG. Good move?

He has improved, but when are we supposed to get him the ball on offense with Jax, Baron, Monta, Al, and Barnes chucking up shots?

This is a legitimate point; his lack of offensive skill cannot be addressed without the opportunity to do more than he already does and there is no room for him in the offense... even less so with Webber putatively coming aboard tomorrow.

Yes... he's a young, starting-caliber center who's still young enough to theoretically make himself into a competent mid-range shooter. He's a valuable prospect.

Not as valuable as Garnett in the short-term, of course, but considerably moreso long term and Golden State with Garnett would still fail to threaten for the title, IMO, so it wouldn't be worth it.

That's because it was a big PACKAGE that we would have sent to Minnesota. And if we traded Biedrins, then the Warriors would have ended up having a great lack of depth. The only way the Warriors would be successful with KG is if Garnett had Biedrins alongside him in the frontline to form a great defensive duo. And Monta Ellis was a part of that package too.

I still think the Warriors could have gotten Kevin Garnett if Boston never offered Al Jefferson. The Warriors signed Brandan Wright to a contract, so that meant that they had to wait a full month before they could trade him. So yeah, I was waiting for August 6th to come by so the Warriors could trade him for KG, but then during that month the Celtics finally decided to give up Jefferson for KG.

I forgot to mention that he has a ridiculously hot girlfriend. She's like a Bond villain femme fatale.

I could understand why you say Curry, but Randolph is a good rebounder. But he did only get 7 boards that game. Although, "tell me something I don't know" right?

Well, the Knicks have a guy named David Lee on that team. He's an incredible rebounder, who got 13 that game.

Also, 20 of Beans' 26 were defensive rebounds. So expecting Curry or Randolph or any other big man to get offensive rebounds is just wrong, and you will surely be disappointed.

To the thread: I think Biedrins won't improve that much more offensively over his career. I know it's bold to predict something like that, but in this Golden State team, I don't think they expect his offense to be anything more then a layup or dunk or putback. They just don't need that much offense. I expect them to work on his man defense to almost perfect it because he has the tools to lock down any big in the league.

Again, as part of a package deal, no. Not to mention, KG said he wouldn't play C (sounds like Webber all over again for GSW).

If you've seen Andris play this season... he hasn't been himself. His value is only appreciated if you see him work without the ball and create clever passing lanes for himself; he is a magician in that regard.

His jumper isnt there yet (supposedly he was shooting it in Int'l ball) but his Ft % has dramatically increased.

Chandler at this point can still out-muscle him.

I think he has an exciting hair style, a fun free throw shot, and neat dunks.

I could see him being a Camby/Chandler type player...dude's a monster on the boards and can block a few shots as well.

He's also got some serious feel under the basket, but anything greater than 5 feet is a prayer (inc. free throws).

I would take Beans on my team. He is a perfect player on a team tht doesn't need his offense as much as rebounding and shot blocking.

My opinion of Biedrins is, he is the best looking white guy in the league. No homo. As for his offense improving, we'd probably see that with him on the Latvian team, since he's not much of a scoring option with Nelly.

That's a backhanded compliment.

True.

I'd rather have him on my team than Ben Wallace. Better?

I don't really ever see him being a good scorer, but he certainly could be very very good defensively and on the glass. He's already good at both.
