Why has Kyrie had more success with Luka over KD?

Between covid and injuries Kyrie barely played with KD. His last season in Brooklyn they were starting to put it together and then Kyrie demanded a trade because he was worried about his next contract.

Fit wise, you would think Kyrie and KD would’ve been better, considering how less ball dominant KD is than Luka. Overall this duo in Dallas truly feels like a Batman and Robin situation, whereas in Brooklyn, I never really got those vibes.

That not the real question but why can't Luka plays with any star talented players other than Kyrie, who wasn't around when he was on the Nets. Playing with LeBron is much easier imo cause he wants AD to be the man while Luka wanted his own countrymen KP gone!

KP is Latvian, he is by no means Luka's "countryman" lol

I think one of the bigger reasons Kyrie's been more effective this year than with KD in 2021 is that he's playing this year, and he was injured and not playing in 2021
